No, you are moved backward and your next roll resumes from 15.

Ouch! I am moving through the Porter level at a snails pace.

(For Porter and beyond) -The reward for 100+ tags is 2 rolls, and you can take them at any time. If you're taking them at the same time as a regular roll, I believe you're asking for 3 dice!
(The reward for 50+ tags is to move 5 spaces ahead, so the reward for 100+ tags must be better. If you earned only one extra roll, that would be worth on average only 3.5 spaces).
Thank goodness for the puzzles! I'm going to be stuck in my seat for a very long time. I'm reading one VERY long (rather boring) audio book. I'm alternating with a print book I can only read one chapter at a time. (The print isn't super small, but it's not dark enough to read comfortably.)

Thanks for reminding me about that.
Woah -the Caboose is going to be crowded tonight! I won't be there for the fun, reading a sciencey book then onto a fantasy before I roll again-could be another book after that (most likely) before I come to the Caboose-Tom decorated the door for all you lucky people
I love this beautiful train! And all of you riding it with us together! The visual is fantastic! I have just finished my 16th or 17th book for subdue the shelf, I finished my 99. I am technically off the train. But I need to slog through Atomic Anna, my book club book and Wicked 11, before I can get back on a Porter. So I guess I’m refueling at the station. Does anyone want me to bring anything when I get back on? Looks like I have the opportunity to take a stop and walk around the charming little village. Restock at the bookstore and the liquor store. And at the chocolate store as well. Maybe get a manicure in town. And a new puzzle for Theresa. Maybe even pick up a date.
My last 2 rolls were 6,5 so I will be reading a book from someone else's game board in addition to the one I landed on.
Such a beautiful Caboose! I knew from the start that the Caboose would be my natural home during this game. 🤣I'm inching up the very first step with my Roll of "1", but happy to be here for the Salsa Party!

I will likely be creeping right along beside you. I am looking at it as appreciating all the books I get off the tbr which includes series I want to continue, or start, authors I want to visit again, and books for other year long challenges so I am not scrambling in December.

Yeah, things have been super crazy. I haven’t been on Goodreads on my computer in a while. But I will update the thing when I write my review. Which I guess technically takes me off…,.
Also super happy to be in the caboose! In case there is a ‘bring a plate’ arrangement in place, I have brought corn chips and home made guacamole and a sneaky bottle of tequila …
That tequila will be a nice addition to my mezcal. Just sent one of the boys out for more mixers. Can't be running out now.Any and all food contributions accepted with joy. I see desserts and chocolate getting low. Amy - can you send in some supplies? Sue does seem to like the dessert buffet when she's not persuading all to join her in a line dance. All fine ... but could we dance something less dated? Next thing you know there will be a conga line through the train!

I think I need to ask about this. I accidentally read the book this lands me on about a month ago, forgetting it might come up in Subdue.
Do I use a swap for this? Or was there something about moving 1 forward or back and reading that one (but presumably still moving from the spot I actually landed on)?
Sorry about that, and thank you!
Cindy, we have not forgotten about you on the train!!! Shall I get you a low sugar dessert? How about a crumpet? Like for tea and crumpets?
Yes - desserts are coming. I also brought my dancing shoes - already up for that. I think I am going to write my #9 Review of When Nietsche Wept. Will fix that damn Clerk Board. Starting Symphony of Secrets tonight.

Mmmmmm...Desserts. Yes I got a little dreamy look in my eyes there.
Since this is a salsa-themed party I'll bring the Tres Leches Cake and Cinnamon Flan.
(Sneaking a few corn chips from Kate to go with my Mezcal...)

BnB - time to bring out your BooknBubbles alter ego! Shake It Up Sunday clearly thought you needed some salsa partying in the Caboose!
Theresa wrote: "BnB - time to bring out your BooknBubbles alter ego! Shake It Up Sunday clearly thought you needed some salsa partying in the Caboose!"I love to make enchiladas verde, so I'll bring those along.
Do you like doves? I do. We feed them all winter. In Spanish they are palomas. There is a drink called palomas. We cheat and make them with Squirt. They are quite delicious, so I'll bring some along-
Ingredients
1 part white tequila
3 parts Squirt grapefruit soda
squeeze of fresh lime juice
heavy pinch of flaky sea salt
Instructions
Fill a highball glass up with ice.
Squeeze a wedge of lime over the ice, and sprinkle with a heavy pinch of flaky sea salt. Add your desired amount of tequila and Squirt grapefruit soda based on the ratios above.
Stir to combine, and enjoy.

I think I'm starting to feel a little bubbly.

Cindy, it's rule #7. Here you go!
7. IF your game board is not 100 unique titles, and you happen to land on a title you've already read -- you may read the book one space behind you, but you do not move your space on the board. If you already have read the book one space behind you, you will continue to look at titles moving backward one space at a time until you hit a book you haven't read. You will read that book (and please denote it in the space where you landed)

I love palomas. Do you have a good enchiladas verde recipe to share? YUM.
Sue wrote: "Yay! I finished and reviewed my final Clerk level book.Ready for my first Porter Roll - 1 die"
Hey Sue,
I noticed you didn't have your Porter board posted before you requested your roll. So that roll of 1 is vacated. Once you have your board up, you can then request the roll . . .
UPDATE: Never mind! I'm just an idiot. Or perhaps need coffee. You are all set with your roll of 1.

Oh hush! I love a good line dance!
Anita wrote: "Do you have a good enchiladas verde recipe to share? YUM..."I don't really have a recipe, but here is the basic idea:
Makes 6-8 enchiladas:
2 chicken breasts -cooked and shredded or other chicken meat shredded
1 15 oz can green enchilada sauce (I like Hatch )
1/2 c. chopped white onion
1 c. shredded Monterrey Jack
corn tortillas
Prepare chicken, put a little seasoning in cumin & dried chile powder, a little enchilada sauce or salsa.
Soften the tortillas by your favorite method, lightly fry, put over open flame or griddle or microwave.
Heat the enchilada sauce and put a few spoonfuls on a plate or pie tin.
Put the softened tortilla on the plate or pie tin, but only do one side. Put shredded chicken, a little onion and cheese and then roll it up.
Continue until all tortillas are rolled. Cover with enchilada sauce. Sprinkle on Cheese and onion.
Bake at 350.
I would bet that BC has a good recipe for enchiladas.

Great, my last 2 rolls were 6-4 so I get a surprise advantage! When you have time, please let me know what it is.

So now I'm wondering do I get some kind of special advantage for going back to 15 or doesn't it count because I was moved back.
If it counts when do I claim it? After I review 15?
