In honor of Tuesday, Dlmrose's favorite day of the week, read two books books from two different options.

It was so weird how that title popped up for me! The word would have been completely intact if it wasn't for that pesky N! Great book too! A 19th century parfumier finds a book of fragrance recipes in a tomb in Egypt and one of his descendants decides to re-create one that promised to take the person wearing it to the afterlife to see their past lives. Lots of action and interesting scent descriptions that thrilled a perfume collector like me.

This is why I love Tuesdays too. I am a reviewer for NetGalley and Book Sirens so I am always aware of when books are being published. I was thrilled to read this ARC old fashioned gothic. I can't get enough of them. I loved it! It is a perfect gothic although a little darker than some of them. A Secret Garden type vibe. It was published October 26, 2021.
