Over my way, here in WV, we would call Stefan a "stick in the mud"... and as this is a story about two botanists, that seems like a great place to start! *grin*
I got my first greenhouse this spring and have discovered my love of growing plants, and that cover caught my eye! The story was spot-on for what I was looking for... short and sweet! Except, who knew you could squeeze so much sex in so few pages! ;p

I haven't read this series in so long I forgot how much we disliked Cam. Well he took care of that the entire beginning of the book. He was quite the entitled little turd. Not that he deserved anything happening to him especially when we get to know him but I didn't feel for him at first. Then Galen rescues him. Literally rescues him. He seemed like such a zen, peaceful soul. I knew something was going on with him but forgot to wonder with all of Cam's crap. I felt really involved with these two and really loved the entire story line. Of course, I ended up loving both of them and their journey. Great way to end the series.

When I first started reading this, I wasn't sure if I was going to make it through. The MCs really didn't appeal to me and there was a lot of angst. The way Fletch started to come back into Roger's life was cute and Haggis was lovely too.
How it fits: Fletcher Andrews never believed in promises. Or monogamy. Or love. When you’re tall and gorgeous, New York City is one big all-you-can-eat buffet of hot young actors, models, and baristas.

I only read daddy kink for challenges. Main reason is that I just don't get it. I don't get people wanting to be spanked and I certainly don't like reading about men wearing lacy underwear and stockings either. However, I guess its every person to their own kink.
The story was ok once I had gotten over those points, and the dirty talk. There was a twist at the end which was good and overall I liked Kevin and Sandro.

So - I had no intention of reading my chosen book as compilations of MCs from past books are really hit and miss stories for me, but all the other books on the list that I could read (own or were in audio) were out of sequence in order of reading for me, or I had read. I didn't feel like a reread ~ so hopefully this one is good :)
I haven't read that one yet because I just know I won't remember all the couples and I'll just be confused! :p

The rest was fillers of sex really ;)

Review:
I'm generally unimpressed with compilations that revisit old MCs that only provide a snapshot of what they are up to without any real story - about half of this book was like that, with sex being predominantly their focus 😉. Fortunately for me there were 2 new MM stories focused on Ammon/Mark and his brother Gideon/Hunter. We also had more on Simone and Joel and bit on Tilly and her senator. The best by far was Ammon and Mark's story; it had more storyline and depth than the other far shorter snippets.

Damn, I don't know who was worse off, Mario or Vitya. Mario is a trans male who has never been accepted and Vitya is a Russian "criminal" sent to the US with fake papers and a few hundred bucks. Both are suffering but Vitya's is just horrendous. They work together and then start the sweetest romance. These two really needed their HEA!

I loved the cover! This was my first book by this author...

I wish there had been more "good" supers...

I wish that the story was written from both MCs POV...
There are more, but suffice it to say that this was an entertaining read with tons of action (never a bad thing) and interesting MCs! I look forward to reading more by this author in the future!

OMG! I loved this. It must be something about cat shifters. Loved the humor and the snark. Laughed non stop from start to finish. Would love to see Owin and Ari in a book.

Ohhh, this was wonderful! Happy times for everyone, well except when it was scary times...
Owin and Grimm were so well written! They play off of each other like well-rehearsed characters in a play! A lot was to be taken in with just a few pages and it will be interesting to see how King Alarick and Jean's relationship evolves... *fingers crossed*

I didn't start out actively disliking Thane but the way he left Ronan made me start...until his father. God, what an asshat. That guy should have been one of their targets, without Thane knowing, of course. Now Ronan was just too sweet for words. I didn't know if he would fit in with this motley group at first but fit in he did. And the things that guy could do to himself during sexy times was "yes, please". Another great addition to the series and if we don't get DB and Odd's story next, I'm gonna lose my shiz.

Loved this last book in this trilogy. The MCs' banter and snark are so much fun - I was laughing out loud. The relationship was pretty realistic and spread out.

Hi Shannon - I think your book doesn't work! The '9' needs to be in the first date of publication regardless of format. For this book, the first date is 10 February 2021 which is the paperback...

How it qualifies: In a dystopian near future, New York City has become the epicenter of decadence--gambling, the flesh trade, a playground for the wealthy.
This wouldn't normally be the type of book Id read. I always think of dystopian and bleak and dark but this was really good.
Nox survives the great storm and is now a vigilante in what was old new York City. He has a 'son' who he needs to protect and a life coming back to haunt him.
A good set up for a series.
