10.3 March On!
I read The Black Atlantic: Modernity and Double-Consciousness by Paul Gilroy. The thesis is that African-inspired culture is not only Afrocentric, but U.S. and Eurocentric in its historical development, The Civil Rights movement is seen as one of a line of developing criteria which defines this mixed bag of cultures which, at its center, holds the conflict and congruence of race relations.

Woodstock Day 2. Sat. Aug 16 – Sun Aug. 17
Book 1. I read In the Palm of Your Hand, Second Edition: A Poet's Portable Workshopby Steve Kowit. The author’s name Steve is the same as the keyboard player for Mountain – Steve Knight – who played at 9PM
Book 2. I read Somebody I used to Know by David Bell. https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...
The word “Somebody” from the title is also in the title of “To Love Somebody” as sung by Janis Joplin at 2AM. (Janis Joplin almost all the time sings “Anybody” rather than “Somebody,” but “Somebody” is in the title of the song.)
