New: Kill the Queen (crown on the cover; great series)

Canada - Thanksgiving Day - 2nd Monday of October
NEW: Cuffed by K. Bromberg - This series just made me happy.
TBR: Submission is Not Enough by Lexi Blake - LOVED this one!!
China - “Chung Chiu” Moon Festival, or the fall harvest - 15th day of the 8th lunar cycle of the year
NEW: Into Deep Waters by Kaje Harper - Such a great story, told over many years!
TBR: A Brand New Ending by Jennifer Probst - This looks very good!
Germany - Erntedankfest, which translates to “harvest thanksgiving festival" - often the first Sunday of October
NEW: Dance Away with Me by Susan Elizabeth Phillips - Sweet, fun story!
TBR: Justice for Laine by Susan Stoker - Sounds interesting!
Japan - Labor Thanksgiving Day - November 23
NEW: Heidi's Guide to Four Letter Words by Tara Sivec and Andi Arndt - So much fun!
TBR: Wicked Need by Sawyer Bennett - I've not read this series, but I like her writing!
The Netherlands - Thanksgiving - last Thursday of November
NEW: Man Hands by Sarina Bowen and Tanya Eby - Almost over the top humor, but fun!
TBR: Magic Triumphs by Ilona Andrews - LOVED!!
Bonus Pick: Year One by Nora Roberts - Saw this one your shelves looking for new books and HAD to pick it as well. This trilogy is sooooo goooooood! The beginning of the first book hit too close to home for me during the pandemic, but that faded before too long. Not your typical NR, but fabulous!
The United Kingdom - unofficially “Brits-giving” - last Thursday of November
NEW: Dirty Letters by Vi Keeland and Penelope Ward - Such a good story!
TBR: Wanderlust by Lauren Blakely - Not the typical lighthearted humor and steam you get in LB books, but more emotional - in a good way!
Brazil - Dia de Ação de Graças - last Thursday of November
NEW: Lost and Found Sisters by Jill Shalvis - Sweet story!
TBR: Shades of Wicked by Jeaniene Frost - I can't wait for the next one! Hmmm, maybe I should reread (listen) in anticipation...
Israel - Sukkot, or the Feast of the Tabernacles - begins on the 15th day of the Hebrew month of Tishrei
NEW: The Lightning-Struck Heart by T.J. Klune - This is the one I cheated on, it is on your shelves but I couldn't resist. If you want to escape and laugh next month, this is a great choice. The audio is to die for! (I read it in early November 4 years ago... 🧐)
TBR: Short Rides or Redneck Romeo by Lorelei James - I couldn't resist! 😉
Almost everything that I've suggested, all but three off your TBR and the Lorelei James that I read but didn't listen to, are excellent in audio!!

totally forgot to answer, but thanks Laura! You chose some great books, I'm excited about reading them!

Hi Romanticbookworm,
I'm more sure what happened but...my shelf was incorrect next to my name. I'm so sorry.
I'm not sure if you'd like to do a re-do but I don't expect to read any of these books in November...???
My correct shelf is in msg 23. No worries if you're busy!!

so many great choices and only one month to read them...thank god for tbr shelves! thanks for all these great picks Kat...i will say that i don't need the bonus pick since i knocked that one out this weekend and am more than half way through the second book...i have a feeling i'll finish the trilogy before week's end! =)

Thanks for the great picks KathyD! I see a bunch to choose from :)

That's so nice of you!!! Thanks for taking the extra time. Great picks too! Appreciate your note about Welcome to the Dark Side...will definitely check it out very closely 🧐😊 And, yea, good cover on Out of Love.

Yay! I'm glad you liked your picks and I hope the NR series lives up to my hype. It was just so different from her usual trilogies, but I absolutely loved it!

Canada - Thanksgiving Day - 2nd Monday of November
TBR: Season of the Sun (historical/family)
NEW: The Warlord's Wife (Family and historical – with bonus points!) - I’ve read this whole series and absolutely adore it. The hero, Magnus is the epitome of brute Viking while the heroine, Lida the strong silent type with a backbone of steel. I have to admit I disliked Magnus at first, but the tougher they are, the harder they fall. The series is also extremely well-researched and written.

China - “Chung Chiu” Moon Festival, or the fall harvest - 15th day of the 8th lunar cycle of the year
TBR: Unseen (all three!)
NEW: The Night Tiger (all three!) I read this last month and enjoyed it. Bit different from your usual genre, but interesting story!

Germany - Erntedankfest, which translates to “harvest thanksgiving festival" - often the first Sunday of November
TBR: More Than Anything (harvest colors and initials A.N.)
NEW: Firelight (Colors and initial) - I’m recommending two of Callihan’s books, but that’s because I just love her writing. Firelight is totally more than you’d expect, and, while I haven’t finished the series, I definitely need to bump it back up there.

Japan - Labor Thanksgiving Day - November 23
TBR: Breathless (6 in page count, working for peace)
NEW: Beneath the Scars (h wants peace in her life, peaceful cover) - I just listened to this one on Audible and it might be available still. It surprised me with its intensity and depth, though it started out as I expected with the MCs getting it on constantly. It moved to a really satisfying read.

The Netherlands - Thanksgiving - last Thursday of November
TBR: My Mr. Sexy (November pub and given the title, probably working toward a common *smirk* …goal…)
TBR: Breath of Fire(characters working together) Had to get this one on here somewhere! I keep meaning to read this one as I loved the first book, but haven’t made it back to it!

The United Kingdom - unofficially “Brits-giving” - last Thursday of November
TBR: Dangerous Highlander(Character from UK)
NEW: Managed (Character from UK, set in UK partially and character living in another country) - While this is book two of this author’s EPIC VIP series, it’s totally a standalone (though I definitely recommend Idol if you are at all a fan of music). It’s like getting a behind-the-scenes view of the life of a rock star and the manager of the band. I’m reading book 3, Fall now and its every bit as good as the first two. Managed made me laugh and cry and swoon. The hero, Scottie (from the UK) has some heavy demons and comes off all kinds of uptight, but damn how Sophie managed him! Epic series and I love this author!

Brazil - Dia de Ação de Graças - last Thursday of November
TBR: Keeper vs. Reaper (somewhat religion)
NEW: Paris Is Always a Good Idea (food in story and cover, celebration (wine festival) in story) This one sort of started out slow, but once Chelsea landed in Paris it just picked up from there and was a really fun read.

Israel - Sukkot, or the Feast of the Tabernacles - begins on the 15th day of the Hebrew month of Tishrei
TBR: Firebird (October pub, outdoor setting)
NEW: Tinderbox(Starts with T and characters spend time outdoors (military and African desert) I just finished the second book in this series and I have to say, I’m totally enthralled! Danger, mystery, kidnapping, warlords, romance and a 3 million year old humanoid fossil. This book was a ride!
