I ordered the Dr. Strange omnibus with variant cover. I believe the Shang Chi omnibus was bumped an extra week.

The Ditko cover of the Dr. Strange omnibus is sold out on IST already. I think it sold out faster than the Shang Chi variant cover did.
I'll order the Absolute Y the Last Man vol 2 at the end of the week. I'm probably going to pick up the two DLX Lazarus volumes as Christmas gifts for another friend.
IST shipped my order that was waiting for Omega Men without that volume after waiting for a week. They haven't contacted me about the issue, I assume they are expecting another shipment.

I've been eying Lazarus but I'm still on the fence. Haven't been convinced of Rucka's writing yet

yeah me neither i read the first deluxe and quit after that.

1. The New X-men omnibus by grant Morrison (1st thing I'll have read by him!)
2. Superior Spider-man volume 2 OHC
I also hope to get the amazing spider-man volume 2 omnibus by Stan lee, if my grandparents are generous :D

October 3 I'll be 17 I have high expectations for it!
Happy birthday!
Hmm. I wonder what would be the best Morrison work to introduce to people that are new to him? Something accessible but crazy enough to see how out of the box he is.

Not sure his accessible and crazy work that well together. Joe the Barbarian?"
True. I think JLA is the most accessible but the least "crazy".
I forgot we do have a Grant Morrison discussion thread...

Oh wow. Lucky for those who don't have it. I wonder if it is a new printing or someone "found" some stock?
Highly recommend for everyone.

I'm planning on picking up Shang Chi vol 2 and the Apocalypse Wars OHC tomorrow.
It looks like Locke and Key master edition 3 has been bumped to the end of next month vs tomorrow.

Just got an email from instocktrades. If you bought V1 you received this email and only the regular cover will be available today.
Due to a shipping problem between the printer and our distributor Diamond Comics, most copies of SHANG-CHI MASTER OF KUNG FU OMNIBUS HC VOL 02 DM VAR ED have not yet been received by Diamond. This book will appear on InStockTrades once we receive more copies. Preorders on our sister site Tales of Wonder are partially covered and will be fully covered once we receive our full ordered quantity.

Great series. Is this your first time reading it, or are you revisiting it with the absolute edition?

Anyone know if they are doing a 3rd absolute for the last absolute?

I am sure they will give us the third Y the Last Man Absolute but it has yet to be solicited. I suspect it will be 8 to 12 months from now.

I just finished the third and final Johns Green Lantern Omnibus last night. Very well done series. I think it ranks up there with the great single character comic book runs of the modern age. Very well done. I hope they have printed lots of copies of these three omnibus volumes for everyone to enjoy. When they go out of print one day, if they get scarce I expect them to get expensive because everyone will want them.
After I finished the Green Lantern book I tread the Omega Men trade. It was actually pretty dark. It was a very different tone vs the Johns run and I have to agree with others here that I didn't feel it lived up the hype I heard about it.

I put the whole Johns GL three volumes pretty high as well. My only problem is that series covered just about everything for me and was epic in scope. Any other stories with GL just seem pedestrian now.
EDIT: Are you waiting for the variant version of Shang Chi V2?
