Task 25.2 Simone's Task: Children of the Apocalypse

This is a task is to help us improve our survival skills. Two book task from options. Good luck and Godspeed for your survival! :)

Book 1: Option 1
In honor of fantastic author Stephen King and his amazing dystopian novel THE STAND read any book by this master of thriller fiction, including his new book IF IT BLEEDS.

YES! I worship this King! I had just gotten IF IT BLEEDS shortly before this challenge nd am excited that I could read it for fun and for the Summer Challenge!

If It Bleeds

FANTASTIC BOOK!!! It is a collection of four novellas and I enjoyed all of them. King is the best!

Book 2: Option 5: The 100

In recognition of The 100 by Kass Morgan, read a book about survival in a dystopian setting.

I read Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury

Fahrenheit 451

I like Ray Bradbury but for some reason never read this book. Most likely it made me nervous to think about a dystopian world where books are banned and burned along with the homes where the books were found. Creepy to a book lover but it something to think about that it could happen and that is what is most frightening about the novel!

PS Fun Fact: The TV show The 100 is one of the most pirated TV shows during the pandemic!
