It seems a huge departure from his The Scoop Kylie. Did you read that one? I didn't request this one because of the difference, and not being sure if I'd enjoy it.

EDIT: I see in your review that you did read his first :)

PattyMacDotComma | 3297 comments My favourite of the Amazon Original Stories "Inheritance" collection is Can You Feel This? by Julie Orringer.
Young couple, wife in labour, race to hospital - but it's more than that, both before and after, and beautifully done.

PattyMacDotComma | 3297 comments I loved the second book of Michael Robotham's Joe O'Loughlin series, Lost, aka The Drowning Man. Good pace, good plot, characters I cared about, plus the author is an award-winning Aussie!
What more could I ask?

Marianne (cloggiedownunder) | 9974 comments A Murder Unmentioned is another superb dose of Aussie historical crime fiction from Sulari Gentill. This series is really addictive! Sadly, I only have #7 and #8 to go (having already read #9) until #10 A Testament of Character comes out in March.

It's totally different Brenda, but I still enjoyed it, though I think I prefer the first book.

The Weekend by Charlotte Wood

This was a weird one for me because I didn't like the story or the characters but I actually really enjoyed the way it was written and its insights. Normally I live only for the story so I'm surprised by my own 4 star rating.
