As for Dark Lover: I was pleasantly surprised.
Is there a great, well thought out, unpredictable plot? No.

Yay! I love that series. I am so glad you enjoyed it. You are right though--the plot is fairly predictable with few surprises, but I really didn't mind that in this series b/c the characters are interesting. The next book with Rhage is one of my faves!

Sometime you don't need a plot to enjoy yourself. I love these books, even with the lack of a serious plot. :)

Cherra and Samantha, I'll be definitely reading the books! I heard good stories about Rhage's story but I'm most curious about Zsadist as he seems to be the biggest challenge. The fact that the HEA's are sort of a given takes a bit of excitement away but still I'm sure I will be enjoying myself. These characters are a fantasy come true for every girl growing up: a tough dangerous guy with a weak spot just for you :)

This was a 4 story anthology. 2 of the stories were really good, 1 was ok and the last one-----well, stinko is the operative word.

I gave it 3 stars, since I figured that was a nice round number--50% for the 2 good stories, 8 for the ok one and 2% for the bad one--so that added up to 60%, so 3 stars. Sigh, yes, I AM a geek, what can I say??
