Review: This book was hard for me to get through. The pace of this book just slogged for me and it took me forever to get into and finish it. Plus the narrator annoys me and so I was switching back and forth between audible and the paperback.

Review: This was a fun quick read about a 16 year old girl who takes a summer job on a horse ranch and finds herself the carer of a wild black horse she calls Chance. They develop a bond while at the same time Lucy develops a crush on her fellow ranch hand, Casey. It's been a long time since I've read a sweet, wholesome YA horse story, in fact I think I was a kid the last time I did and it was a nice change of pace.

I noticed them, I just have a busy life right now and don't make my update to the team postings until either Monday or Tuesday before each new call.

Review: I think this should have more than 5 tags for humor, there was some seriously funny lol parts. The male MC has been jilted at the alter twice....seems like a nice guys finish last scenario. He has a good heart, but keeps picking the wrong woman. His mom can get over the top, which is where most of the humor comes from. The female MC just wants a safe lifestyle.

Review: The Radleys is a story of a family of 'abstaining' vampires trying to fit into middle-class rural England. Parts of this book were hilarious, particularly husband Peter's struggle with his crush on the vapid next door neighbour, Lorna. I felt for Helen and Peter's teenage children, Rowan and Clara, who find out the hard way that they're vampires and not just 'intolerant' to the sun.

The only stamp before I review the latest post was the free space. I was going to do it and hope that we can ask for another stamp this afternoon when I get off work and catch up on post.

Jennifer - that is for me to request. However, all members have to have read and posted a completion for a space/shelf before I can put in a request.
The only shelf prior to me checking the latest post after Msg 161 we have met that requirement for is the Free Space.
I will review everything in a few hours and post an update.

Review: This was a good start to a series. Dixie, ex-cop lost everything in life when her husband and daughter were killed, after a few years of complete withdrawal she has moved on to be a pet-sitter. Nothing like stumbling upon a dead body during your pet rounds and the next days don't go any better.

May I make the (possibly unpopular) suggestion that we drop the team members that are unable to maintain the reading schedule? I believe this would result in our being allocated replacement players. I'm not sure what then happens to the categories that have already passed - we will have to check with the mods - but I suspect that we would have a much better chance of catching up.

I did PM the mod yesterday that yes, we are struggling because books aren't being read consistently.
I have not heard anything back at this time.

Review: I really enjoyed this book. It is addicting and keeps you guessing how and what'll happen. It goes into detail about how the memory machine works, and there's some time travel involved. Some of it went over my head, but it was pretty easy to follow. It had the same feel to Dark Matter. The main characters are racing against time, so the pacing is pretty fast.

Review: This was so fun to read. Evie and Carter's connection jumps off the page and captures the reader. I loved it. When they became "enemies," it was hilarious. I kept reading it with "One Way or Another" by Blondie in the back of my mind.

Sorry to hear that you are feeling rough with your pregnancy Jill. I think it affects us all in different ways (I suffered with horrific SPD throughout mine and it killed me). You've probably tried all sorts of things already but I have heard that ginger tea is good for nausea :)

Thank you! Yes, def did ginger tea. The best thing so far is just sleeping it off :P I just finished my 1st tri so it's been better but ugh so hard :/

Review: I'm such a wimp, I prefer to handle the mild books labeled horror. LOL. Well, I usually only sleep about 4 hrs a night, so I want to sleep and not have nightmares. This is a good spooky story for those just wanting to tip toes into horror genre. Ollie recently experienced a tragedy in her life and checked out of the things she used to love to do at school. Now she just wants to be left alone. But Ollie is a very curious girl and that curiosity leads her on an interesting trip with a few classmates.
