At the Mountains of Madness by H.P. Lovecraft. I start to read it because I thought that we would read it. Only when I started it I saw that it would be a group listen. Besides my mistake I am enjoying it.

The Hiding Place by C.J. Tudor.
This sophomore effort has thus far exceeded her first book by leaps and bounds. I'm about 60% through and want to keep going, but i really need to get to bed. But this book is building the tension and mystery steadily throughout and making me not want to put it down. First book in awhile that's done that for me.

I finished Elevation and The Troop.Now I'm reading House of Leaves. It's been a little difficult to figure out the writing style at the beginning.

I most certainly am. Mcdowell is becoming a favorite author for horror for me. I loved Gilded Needles and have The Elementals as a next read.

Women Crime Writers: Four Suspense Novels of the 1940s: Laura / The Horizontal Man / In a Lonely Place / The Blank WallA while back I read Laura and The Horizontal Man and enjoyed both (Laura a bit more than the other) and now I'm not quite a third into In a Lonely Place, which is quite good so far.
No horror reading at the moment, but rather a sci-fi novel (The Three-Body Problem) and a YA dystopian fantasy (Tapestry).

it was good..but I prefer The Wendigo ..
DNFing The Mansion, it's too much of a Shining rip-off without any of the finesse of the Shining.Just started The Cedar Cage and I'm also reading/listening to The Retreat
