Rooftops by Tom Lewis

For a buddy read. This was featured in Paperbacks from Hell: The Twisted History of '70s and '80s Horror Fiction, but so far, it rather reads like a cop/crime thriller.

I did and I enjoyed it. However, it is a bit slow moving and it turns into a courtroom drama during the last quarter or so.

I did, too. Many of the authors from the 70s and 80s had a slow burn storytelling style. I actually enjoy that from time to time. I flip back and forth from the fast paced romps of many of today's author's to an older paperback from TBR collection that has a slow, steady build up and character development.

I gave up too, Glenn. I tried so hard lol, but I'm sure at some point I will finish it. Switched over to Craven Manor for now and starting to really enjoy it

David HK | 24 comments I'm reading AND HELL FOLLOWED: An Anthology - Christine Morgan's Story is my favorite one so far. She has such a funny take on the Bible. She should be a stand-up comedian.
The Women in the Walls (Group Read)
Pro Techniques For Home Recording - The Digital Home Studio Bible
Along Came a Spider
Crash and Burn - Artie's one of the funniest guys around today. I haven't really kept up on his situation, but I hope he's taking better care of himself. I kind of went out of order on this one. After I'm done with this book, I'll go back and read "Too Fat to Fish" which I guess is more autobiographical while Crash and Burn mostly touches on his struggle with drugs.
