Most of his books that I've read so far have been creature features, romping and chomping-lots of fun!
One of his more serious books: Creature, (which I went into thinking it was a creature feature), is probably in my top 20 books of all time.
This one is more of a historical fiction/supernatural horror, and though it's too soon to really tell? I like it quite a bit so far. :)

Catherine Cavendish | 314 comments The Wonderful Discovery of Witches in the County of Lancaster: Thomas Pott's Original Account Modernized & Introduced by Robert Poole by Robert Poole - this is an updating of the infamous Lancaster Witch trials of 1612 and includes the original, highly detailed, account of the trials themselves. Fascinating. Thomas Potts' account was heavily referenced in the Salem Witch Trials eighty years later, including the use of child witnesses whose testimony alone sent innocent people to their deaths. How many old scores and family feuds were settled in the name of justice?

Char | 17472 comments I am starting a non-fiction read: The Divide: American Injustice in the Age of the Wealth Gap by Matt Taibbi. He did a lot of reporting for Rolling Stone magazine. I'm listening to it, narrated by the great Ray Porter.
