Still a 5-star favourite after a re-read is Kate Atkinson’s fourth Jackson Brodie book, Started Early, Took My Dog. He just can’t help helping to make up for past tragedies when he was too young to help.

I’ve been reading Stay with Me, a novel about marriage and fertility in Nigeria during the turbulent 80s-90s.https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
I gave 2.5 stars to this one. I thought it had a lot of potential that it didn't live up to for me.

When we were little, Dad used to read us Grimm's fairy tales. Red Riding Hood was one of them. There may be a girl in a red hood, and she may be in the woods on her way to Grandma's house, but this The Girl in Red by Christina Henry, is nothing like what dad read us....5★s

I just finished a lovely book, and found out (afterward) that there are more written before this one. I never suspected, while reading, but now I want to find them.

Catch Cat: Discover the world in this search and find adventure is an around-the-world game by Andy Council. He has drawn the continents with tiny cartoon details, amongst which is a cat. The hunt is on!

Just read Aussie author Annie Seaton's latest novel, Undara which is a real place in Far North Queensland - a great setting for an outback family drama. These lava tubes are mysterious caverns, and I included a few pictures.
3.5~4★ Link to my "Undara" review
