How about both!?
I do hope the television series includes the drunk Jamie scene when they do Dragonfly! lol

Thank you. Good to know. But the series is still ongoing, right? As in she's writing another one?
Yes. She said there will be a book 9. She has not given anything else away about it. There is a lot of talk about Jamie's ghost, because she said it would be explained in the last book. People got upset because it wasn't in Written in My Own Heart 's Blood. But this is not the last book. You must listen to the rest of Dragonfly for me to say more though. :)
so being sick with strong headache I couldn't check on goodreads today but I couldn't bear the idea of not seeing this discussion:) so! Sandra here the website and the limk for the acticle , I hope one of them works:)

I have faith DG will give us a HEA:) Guys this is another issue but I was always skeptical about audiobooks, do you recommend for OUtlander ? and which version ? I always worry about not getting the whole emotional package:)

you mean the ghost under her window at the beginning of book 1 right?
Started listening to Dragonfly today. The narrator is unbelievable. Hope I can read/listen to this one slowly.
I am hoping it isn't the last. But yes i am talking about the ghost looking up at the window. Funny thing is, I had to go back and listen to that section of the book after the tv show because I missed it numerous listens. All DG has said is there will be a book 9. Nothing about more than that. She also said she will write a book about Master Raymond.
Good luck with that Karen. I told myself I would listen to Written in My Own Hearts Blood slow and I was done in a couple days. And yes, Davina Porter narrating this series is fantastic. She makes you feel the character

Ness, I love the audio version of this series. Davina Porter is awesome narrating. If I'm where I can, I'm listening to this series. I switch to ebook when I can't listen for some reason.

I bought it from Audible.com and I think it is on sale right now. But you are in Germany right? Not sure how that works in Europe

In Dragonfly Dawn, I'll try and see ho it goes:)
Audio is really praticale I think for the times you are doing sth and can't read:9
So...oh wow! Facebook just out out that DG is having a cameo in this weeks episode on Starz. She looked pretty good in period dress.
I will have to watch really hard for her. It is a cameo, but hoping it is more than a face in the crowd.
Thanks, Ness! For this photo & the above link...it is hilarious! My hubby is bad to talk during shows also...but maybe not quite that much! lol
Loved the link...I have one of those husbands that doesn't talk at all while watching a show...I think I'm grateful for that...lol
You should be grateful, Karen! haha I am so glued to Outlander when it's on, I think I probably snarl at my hubby when he opens his mouth! lol Actually, I ignore him until it goes off.
Okay...i think episode 4 is my favorite so far. Even the stuff they added that was not in the book was great
Lets see...Laoghaire never asks for a love potion in the book. There were some things in the wrong order, like the assault and pass with Dougal happened after the oath taking. Claire did not drug anyone in the book, but damn that was a funny scene. And the whole love potion scene had me snorting. Click your heels three times and say There is no place like love. Lmao
I thought it was interesting about the opening song to the series. DG was replying to someone on FB (and how cool is that?) about it. It is a Scottish folk song about Prince Charlie escaping to Skye dressed as a ladies maid.
I thought the boar scene was very well done - very realistic with the bleed out, etc., and am glad they followed the book on that one. I actually wasn't a fan of the love potion thing...probably just me being picky because it's not in the book. haha
Very cool about the song...it sticks in my head.
