A bit of an old post to add to, but I didn't know where to pass this info on at. Diana Gabaldon announced book 10 will be the last Outlander book. She is working on 9 now, so we have some time, but I can honestly say I am not so sure how anxious I will be for that last book. 😪😪
Me either, even though I'm not even close to the end. I'm trying to read them along with the TV series now.
Lol, oh you know me and my series binges Jonetta. I have listened to the entire series three times now
We have a premiere date...September 10!

Hi guys ! you are probably finished with the series ?:( who is reading voyager before the season premiere?:😊 I'm reading so a lot slower than listening.

I've read Voyager. Drums of Autumn is next up for me.

I'm listening (Davina Porter is outstanding). Not sure...probably late this year, definitely after the season is over.
I plan to re-listen to it before September. I have to agree with Jonetta...Davina Porter is ridiculously good on this series.
I will finish voyager first then. I look forward to commenting the episodes here starting September!!:)
Dawn wrote: "Her opening the door at the end got me too. I knew they wouldn't let us see the reunion yet."Yes very intriguing! I got goosebumps from the music and the scene.
How she looks is interesting though. In some scenes I get the impression of too much makeup and then at the end when she went back..she was more like her younger self.
The makeup is appropriate for that era (late fifties, early sixties). They wore a lot of makeup!
I am putting in a link to a picture of Jamie as the Dunbonnet. Hopefully it works. http://ew.com/tv/2017/07/20/outlander...
Ohhhh waw, he looks so different, so wild. We will be kept on our toes till the start of the season. I am curious what the easter egg is..
Thank goodness I have the STARZ app and can watch the reunion scene over and over. I am going to be too focused on finding the surprise I am sure to miss the normal nuances of the reunion.
I have to remind myself not everyone has read all of the books, so I stop myself from explaining that picture lol
Oh why didn't I go to Comic-con this year? They showed the first episode of season 3 at the fan event.
I'm with Sharon...bright and dark moments. You knew certain things were going to happen but when they did, my heart broke.

Ditto! I had to wipe a tear or two.

Same here...I think the whole thing really showed the "code of honour" that soldiers followed in that time. But it still broke me...Rupert and the young ones especially!

That's what I was thinking, Charlene...such a strong code of honor among those men. A time when men were men - when their words and actions meant everything.

I watched it at 2 am on my iPad, I love the STARZ app. Then I watched it again later lol. I was hoping for a binge opportunity, but they are not releasing them all at once.
It was so good! I was lucky to keep my electric; that was the night of Hurricane Irma. It was a good distraction though.
So is Outlander going to be on every Saturday or Sunday night now? And how many episodes this go round?
It's every Sunday but the new episodes show up in the On Demand menu early (at least the morning of). I'm not sure of the number of episodes.

Wow. I just watched episode 3. If you are only a series watcher and haven't read the books...read no further. OMG! They changed the whole storyline, eliminating Duncan Ines and putting in Murtagh. I think it took me half the show to figure it out. Moving fast through the book as well.

They've been making little changes as they go, but nothing that's really bothered me so far. I was thinking this explains how Murtagh gets to America.
On the upside, I thought the actor they got to play John Grey is perfect!
Jonetta wrote: "It's every Sunday but the new episodes show up in the On Demand menu early (at least the morning of). (For me that is I almost stopped reading.)
