⚜Foreman Trea’s Inspired by Toys Challenge: Round 3



When I became a mod, I decided to make the Inspired by Toys Challenge a recurring yearly one, and alternate with toys my children like. Last year was my son's passion, so for this year's challenge, I chose my husband's Childhood toys: He-Man and the Masters of the Universe and paired it up with his G.I. Joe toys.

How Tos:
♗Books should either match the specific character traits mentioned in parenthesis, or fit the suggested prompt.
♗Any book read can only be used to match one Character or character trait! There may be overlap of character traits on the specific toys-This is intentional and you must read a separate book to match another occurrence of the trait!
♗While the toys are gender specific, when completing a task that requires a character to have a trait (like drummer or outdoorsman), the characters in your book can be of any gender. You can also use supporting characters if they fit that trait, so long as you stick to the "one book for one trait" rule.
♗If you do not wish to do the specific tasks, you may do a spell out of any character's name, the television show's name, or military branch name using title, author's name, or series name. (Author middle initials or articles like 'A', 'And', 'An', and 'The' will not count to match to the specific letter!)
♗Goal is to read 50 books over the course of the year, and you are welcome to mix and match to get to that goal, or go for all toys listed!
♗Re-reads are allowed
♗There are no page minimums or limits.

You mean do an entry like "Evil-Lyn (Character is a sorceress/witch)" and then do "Evil-Lyn (Character is cunning)?

Sure, I have no problem with that, if you wish to do things that way, so long as the books are totally different for each entry. Using the same book for multiple entries (even if you use it once on say He-Man's Trait, and then use the same book again for Skeletor's Character), is something that I want people to avoid in these challenges.

♗Any book read can only be used to match one Character or character trait! There may be overlap of character traits on the specific toys-This is intentional and you must read a separate book to match another occurrence of the trait!
♗While the toys are gender specific, when completing a task that requires a character to have a trait (like drummer or outdoorsman), the characters in your book can be of any gender. You can also use supporting characters if they fit that trait, so long as you stick to the "one book for one trait" rule.
