Thanks to Lesley's TBR list I saw that The Rosewater Redemption already has a release date for this year (Look Martin, Rothfuss and others, that's how you write series ...) I pre-ordered it for a sensible price, let's see when the pre-order gets cancelled cause they double the price ... (No, I'm not still grumpy cause of Children of Ruin ... Never ...)

John Conroe's next book is due, he has been doing a count of words on facebook. should be at the publishers now.I just love his series. urban fantasy that treats people as an adult when they read it. Even mentions DNA, cell structures and lots of physics things for answers to the supernatural .
Kind of last minute, but there's a new Penric novella coming out this week! Can't wait! The Orphans of Raspay
I am eagerly anticipating The Ascent to Godhood, the fourth installment in JY Yang’s The Tensorate Series, which is due out the end of this month. Thanks to this group for introducing me to their work, I devoured the first three books in quick succession and look forward to seeing where they take the story next.
I have preordered Jade War by Fonda Lee and Becky Chambers’ new one, To Be Taught, If Fortunate.Marie Brennan has a new book set in the Lady Trent universe: Turning Darkness Into Light. Apparently it’s about her granddaughter, which is intriguing,

I’ve also preordered Jade War and I wasn’t previously aware of Marie Brennan’s new book, so thanks for that!

But not on audio? Audible is coming up blank. Huh.
I'm looking forward to R.J. Theodore's Salvage, the second book in a post-apocalyptic steampunk airship science fantasy first contact series. The first ended in quite a cliffhanger and I need to see what happens to all those characters when they get out of publisher limbo.
One of my favorite writers is Wen Spencer. There are two books of hers due: one in the Tinker series, another in the Black Wolves of Boston series. Does anyone know when they are going to be published? Or if? I went to her website, but there is no possibility to communicate with her there. Her preferred method of communication is through Patreon, which I'm not going to become a member of.
I think a couple of people might be interested in knowing that Susanna Clarke has a new book coming out next year!Piranesi
I am sad it's not the same universe as JS&MN but I am very excited! Something about "watery halls" always sounds so much more exciting in books than in real life.
I’m really looking forward to Interference (Semiosis #2) by Sue Burke. I loved Semiosis and this 2nd part comes out at the end of October. Also, The Future Of Another Timeline by Annalee Newitz is another one I’m quite excited about.
(Sorry no links -app)

*EDIT* also, yes to The Burning White.
I'm totally looking forward to the release of Starsight next week, Volume 2 in the Doomslug the Destroyer series. :D
New T. Kingfisher book coming on Feb 11th: Paladin's Grace. It sounds like it's a standalone in the Clockwork Boys / Swordheart universe. I see white rats and a gnole on the cover! <3 And knitting needles, which makes me think it'll be exactly the type of romance I can get excited about. Yeah, I think it's romance. There is a sequel to Swordheart coming also, but I don't know when. And another horror novel is also in the works. I'm going to pre-order and read all of these the second they're available :D
Kristen wrote: "I already preordered “The City We Became” by N. K. Jemisin. :) It comes out in March!"I'm torn between pre-ordering and asking for it for my b-day later in the year. Definitely getting it either way--I have all of her books except the short story collection.
I was looking forward to Jade Legacy but a recent peek at its page shows that it's been moved to an undetermined date in 2021. :(
Beth wrote: "it's been moved to an undetermined date in 2021."I hate when that happens! I just had one that had a Jan 2020 date suddenly moved to 2030 :D I guess that means "no idea", but still, I thought it was actually coming out really soon.

Cypher
The Relentless Moon
Fantasy
The Burning God
The Trouble with Peace
False Value
No release date yet but The Thorn of Emberlain might be released this year.
Tchaikovsky releases two novels scheduled for May which, of course, I'm totally looking forward to: The Doors of Eden and Firewalkers. The second one looks like it is a limited hardcover edition where I'm not sure I'm crazy enough to spend so much money on.
Anna wrote: "Silvana, did you read/like Annex? It's on my TBR, but the ratings are making me reconsider."well of course, that's why I plan to read the sequel ;)
It's YA but a really good one. Ratings are deceitful.
Thanks Silvana, ratings are indeed not to be trusted, but with so many things to read, you have to choose somehow!
Looks like I am similar to JannikPeace Talks
The Girl and the Stars
False Value
Ballistic
The Last Emperox
It seems to have gone quiet at the author's end, but I'd like to read Ready Player Two when it comes out.
Imaginary Numbers, next in Seanan McGuire's Incryptid series. The City We Became
Network Effect
The Last Emperox
The Relentless Moon next in Mary Robinette Kowal's Lady Astronaut series.
That's a bummer about Jade Legacy being pushed back.
