Edited publication date, which makes it clearly not yet published. But we would not delete a book record in this case.
Please merge https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1... and recombine. Reverted changes made by the author, which left the edition to be merged designated as an ebook edition with the duplicate ASIN for the Kindle edition to be merged into.

#33 The covers seem to be the same image with different lighting to me. More concerning to me is the pub. year difference. The 2009 edition is described as the "2nd Edition", but does that necessarily mean that the 2005 edition shares the same ISBN? There is more than one record for each date, so I am not inclined to think these are mistakes, and I can't research it very well, as I do not know Arabic. In any case, I have queued the most popular edition for merge, as that is a duplicate of the second most popular. The rest will have to wait for this merge to complete either way. #49 Wow, such terrible things have happened to the Twilight books. There had been two bad cover changes. Reverted to the record's original cover, made an ACE for one, and adapted the duplicate edition for the other. Then recombined with the rest.
For the blank edition with publication date, I tracked down a 2005 "Crepúsculo" edition on worldcat and corrected on the relevant GR record, then

I reverted it and adapted the duplicate into an ACE (though, to be honest, I doubt this cover really is associated with the collector's edition, however it was added to the record with the ISBN and I can't prove otherwise). Re-combined with the rest.

As explained in the first post, it is for requesting the deletion of true duplicates.I can say that your request does not sound like one that would be performed by librarians, as GR is a database of all books ever published and thus includes even out-of-print editions. #74 Those are not the same, the covers are different. I have noted one as an Alternate Cover Edition, as I was able to confirm it had the same ISBN from amazon. I have updated the publication date to the date the image was uploaded, because it is as close to the date of the cover change as I can guess. I added the transliteration in square brackets and have combined with the rest of the editions of this book.
#75 The one with more details actually had an invalid ISBN (started with 0 instead of 8). Completed the other and separated the two together. In future, please combine editions you wish to be merged prior to request.

Hi Alex!For #62, I just wanted to make sure you are just deleting one paperback for Behind His Lens, and NOT the ebook. I have all my reviews under the ebook :) I panicked because I clicked on my book link and for a second didn't see the reviews of the ebook.

#62/65/81 Hi Beth, the ebook is absolutely fine, I've separated it from the paperbacks so that the duplicate is merged properly. Because of the deletion process, you must not re-combine the two until it has been completed. While they are separate, the ebook's reviews stay with it. When we it is ok again to re-combine, they will show for all editions.

Edit: Since the post was not edited to remove the user's name, it has been deleted.
That duplicate ebook edition has been marked as queued for deletion. The ASIN should not be added to it. Rather a new edition -- with format Kindle -- should be added instead. It should be added to the paperback edition (using the add a new edition link), not to the ebooks which are separated because of the pending deletion.
Rather than remake 35 entries, would a super-librarian be willing to have a look here: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...If this is not appropriate let me know and I will make the 35 requests here.
[Deleted post #89] What you are requesting in this post is not a merge of true duplicates, which is the purpose of this thread (which would remove one record, moving all reviews to its duplicate), but a combination (which I have done) for which you should have started a new thread in this folder.#60/65/[Deleted post #89] As Rivka pointed out and I had noted on the record, it is queued for deletion, following your assertion in #60 that it was a duplicate with the ebook with ISBN edition. Due to delays in deletions, it may take 2-3 weeks for this to resolve. During that time, you must not combine it with the rest of the editions, so that the ebook reviews are properly merged into the ebook record.
