i chose Option 2: Read a book that takes place in Florida or France - Astragal

the main page blurb doesn't clearly state that it takes place in France, but the "about the author" section on the main page states this, "Albertine Sarrazin (17 September 1937 — 10 July 1967) was a French author. She was best known for her semi-autobiographical novel L'Astragale." the whole book is about her escaping jail in France and making her way to Paris with the help of her lover. hope that's enough, but i can find other info about it taking place in France if it isn't.
