the main page blurb doesn't clearly state that it takes place in France, but the "about the author" section on the main page states this, "Albertine Sarrazin (17 September 1937 — 10 July 1967) was a French author. She was best known for her semi-autobiographical novel L'Astragale." the whole book is about her escaping jail in France and making her way to Paris with the help of her lover. hope that's enough, but i can find other info about it taking place in France if it isn't.

I love to read in the kitchen especially in the morning while eating breakfast and drinking tea.
