Torch nodded. He hadn't thought of that before. "I'll show you outside." he said, pulling the cart and the kids away from human eyes. Then he grabbed the planks, closed his eyes, and slowly they shrunk down to mini sized objects. Demetri nodded. "I hope so." he agreed.
Lexi appeared in the doorway. "How are things going?" she asked, looking between Damon and Demetri.
James blinked and picked up the tiny plank like a toothpick "how'd you do that?" He looked at London and smirked "we have a cool dad!"Damon chuckled "Demetri took everything pretty well.."
London nodded, grabbing up the whole pile of planks, "Yes we do! Thank you Dad!"Torch beamed and squeezed London's hand. "You're very welcome you two. Now lets go home." He urged.
Lexi smiled at them both. "Well that's a relief to hear." she walked over to Dem and sat beside him. "You ok with everything?"
Demetri smiled and nodded eagerly. "I learned all about my sister." he agreed. "And how she comes out." He added, blushing shyly. "Where is she going to stay?"
Lexi smiled at him and resting her hand on his shoulder. "She can stay in your room."
Demetri grinned and clapped his hands. "Yes!"
James grinned and grabbed the window and started flapping his wings heading back home. "Can we start building now dad?"Damon smiled and ruffled his hair "you may not like that when she's here" he teased with a grin.
Torch laughed, jumping up after them to fly home. "We can start building as soon as your mother says we can." He promised. Demetri shook his head stubbornly. "Of course I will! We'll share toys and everything!"
James grinned and flew faster "what tree can we build it in?" He asked already planning it out in his head, he liked architecture though of course he didn't know what that was!Damon chuckled "as a baby she can't play with toys yet, and she won't sleep during the night...plus there is poopy diapers"
Torch had to speed up a little to catch up with them both. "We can build it in the maple in the backyard." He suggested. London nodded. "That's a big tree!" She agreed happily.
Demetri scrunched up his face. "I changed my mind. She can stay with you guys. Just until she gets older."
Lexi laughed softly. "Alright honey." She agreed, kissing the top of his head.
James grinned and nodded he landed and frowned "mum isn't home!" He complained wanting to start building immediately.Damon chuckled and hugged him "when she's bigger" he agreed.
Torch sighed, "I guess we'll have to wait then." he said, unshrinking the supplies once they were put down."But Daaaad!" London protested.
Torch shook his head. "No buts. We wait for her to get back."
Demetri nodded and smiled. "Great. I'm going to go keep reading." he announced, running off with the book back to his bedroom.
Lexi sighed and shook her head. "He's got so much of you in him." She said smiling. Her hand moved down to her stomach to rub it gently.
James frowned and sat on the ground stubbornly "it could be hours!" He threw a pebble to the grass.Damon smiled and crouched down kissing her stomach "hi baby girl it's daddy!"
Torch shook his head. "Then I guess you'll have to find something else to do until then." He said seriously. London grabbed James's hand, trying to pull him up. "Come play with me!" She begged.
Lexi smiled contentedly, looking down at her love and her growing stomach. "She's moving for you." She whispered.
Mae came back and smiled "hi ya'll did you have fun?" She kissed Torch's cheek and looked at the wood "is that enough?"James grinned and followed London, he looked at his toys "what do you want to play?"
Damon smiled and started to sing to her stomach a song his mama sang to him.
Torch nodded, grinning at her. "We have some pretty cute kids. They were all excited about building the fort." He said. "I shre hope its enough..." he added. "If not, I can buy more."London looked at all the toys and thought for a moment. "Well. I havent played anything with you yet. Why dont you teach me a game?"
Lexi closed her eyes and listened to him sing, loving the feel of Damons hands on her stomach, and the baby moving inside her.
Mae smiled and hugged him "you are a very good father..." She kissed him and ran her hands through his hair "I bought some things...I think you'll like this." She held up a little onesie that said Daddy's little devil.James grinned and got out uno "played cards?"
Damon smiled and kissed her stomach again "I'm so happy!"
Torch smiled. "Thanks." His smile quickly turned into a grin. "Yes. I do like it. I like it a lot." He chuckled.London shook her head. "They dont have cards in heaven." She said sadly. "They say they're too often used for gambling."
Lexi smiled. "I am too." She ran her fingers through his hair slowly. "And im happy that you're happy."
Mae smiled "I think they baby will like it" she hinted again since she didn't think he understood.James frowned "that's stupid!" He dealt the cards to her and him.
Damon smiled "you introduced that emotion to me..." He stood up and kissed her lovingly "what do you want to do now? Go see Mae and Torch and James and Demetri can play?"
Torch frowned for a moment, and then his eyes grew wide and he blinked a few times. "You're.... your pregnant?" He asked incredulously.London nodded. "It is." She agreed, whatching him deal the cards with interest.
Lexi smiled and closed her eyes for a minute, before opening them again and nodded. "Contact them first to make sure its alright, then, I would love to go to their place."
Mae shrugged a little and smiled "appears to be the case...are you ok?" She was worried and took his hand. James smiled "now pick up your cards and fan them out like this." He showed her "don't let me see them and organize them"
Damon nodded and closed his eyes trying to get hold of Torch 'is it alright if we come by and Demetri can play with James and London?'
Torch ignored Damon's voice for a minute. "I'm great... I mean. We're having another kid!" He said smiling and kissing her. "But will you be able to handle that?" he asked, worried about her sanity. "Three kids is a big number all at once." Then he nodded a little. 'Yeah. Come over. Give us ten, then come.'London nodded, clumsily trying to fan out the cards, before she started sorting through them.
Lexi watched, waiting expectantly. "Did they say we could come?"
Mae shrugged "the kids will be going to school and I'll watch the baby, James and London can help I'll be fine." She assured and hugged him close loving his support. "Talking to Damon?"James grinned watching her and showing her how to sort and pair them up.
Damon nodded "in ten minutes, Torch sounded a little flustered" he chuckled
Torch nodded, relaxing a little. "Alright. Then I'm thrilled." he promised, smiling at her. "Yeah. I was talking to him. They're coming over in a few minutes so Demetri can play with the kids."London tried her hardest, but was getting frustrated because she couldn't hold the cards in a perfect fan for the life of her. "This is too hard." She said softly, shaking her head. "How do you do it?"
Lexi raised an eyebrow. "Flustered? I wonder what's going on over there..."
Mae smiled "that will be so fun! I haven't seen them forever!" She ran a hand through her hair "Damon can help you build the clubhouse!"James sat by her and showed her how to hold her hand "like a fan...see?"
Damon shrugged "I don't know? Guess we will find out!"
Torch nodded in agreement. "Yeah! He can! That would be a huge help." He smiled. "And we can tell them that you're pregnant!"London nodded and tried again, succeeding a little better at producing a card fan.
Lexi nodded. "Alright then. Let's head over! Demetri! Come on. We're going to see the Miltons." She called.
Demetri came bounding down the stairs. "Really!?"
Mae laughed and kissed him "maybe, maybe not! Lex might think I'm a slut!" She teased kissing him deeply and rubbing her nose against his.James grinned "sweet! That looks so great!" He went back over to his side and explained the rules of 'speed'
Damon chuckled and nodded "do you want to try flying?!"
Torch laughed, shaking his head. "She wont. Not unless you're going out with someone else that I'm not aware of." He smiled gently and kissed her nose. London nodded, mulling over the rules in her head before smiling. "Alright. I think I got it. Let's start!"
Demetri's eyes lit up and he grinned, jumping up and down. "Yes!! Yes! Can we?"
Mae laughed and shook her head "I'm not promise!" She hugged him and took his hand going out to the wood "so how can I help?"James quickly put down the cards and waited till she did the game was fast and she won! "Nice!" He said excited
Damon grinned "alright, let your wings out Demi" he let his own out shaking out the stiff feathers.
Torch smiled and hugged her back. "Good!" He said, releived. "We can start sorting them." He suggested, motioning to the planks.Londond grinned, her face flushing from the compliment. "Thanks!"
Demetri nodded and let his small black feathered wings unfold. "Now what?" He asked, his wings fluttering a little in excitement.
Mae smiled and started helping him sort out the sizes and the shingles "it's going to be like a little house!" She said excited "forts when I was a kid were pillows and blankets!"James shuffled the cards again and grinned "want to make a house of cards?" He started to carefully lean them against eachother.
Damon grinned "start flapping them rapidly until you feel your feet lift from the ground."
Torch laughed. "Do you think we're spoiling them?" He asked, worried. "My forts as a kid weren't this extensive either but..."London nodded eagerly. "Teach me how!" She picked up a couple of cards and tried to balance them.
Demetri closed his eyes tight and started flapping, almost immediately starting to float off the ground. "Am I doing it?" He asked hopefully?
((How are you? :) ))Mae shook her head "they have been through a lot Torch, and they designed it. I think it's going to be great!"
James took her hands and made the cards stack carefully "any small movement will knock it down..." He whispered
Damon laughed "open your eyes and see for yourself kiddo!"
((Good thx. How r u?))Torch agreed, smiling. "Itll be awesome. I grantee it. Ill work hard on it. For our family." He promised, kissing her forehead.
London nodded, frowning in concentration as she tried her hardest to stay as still as possible. "This is so cool." She whispered.
Demetri peeled his eyes open slowly and grinned. "Im flying Dad! Im flying!"

James couldn't hold back a sneeze and it completely crumbled "ah man!"
Damon chuckled "open your wings more Dem, it'll be easier!" He promised flying to the Milton'a.
((Great :) ))Torch grinned. "Thanks!" He said, kissing her back. Then he looked up. "Hey guys!" He said as Damon and Lexi landed.
London groaned. "Ah well. We can start again."
Dem listened and found it easier to soar back to the ground in Torch's backyard.
((You back to school yet?))Damon grinned and chuckled hugging his best friend "why did you sound so weird and flustered?"
Mae hugged Lexi and instantly both babies kicked at the same time. She blinked and grinned at her best friend.
James blinked hearing people downstairs and took his sister'a hand and ran down the stairs grinning to see Demetri! "Hey!"
((Not yet :) u?))Torch hugged him back, thrilled to get the chance to catch up with his friend. "Well.... we're havinganother kid. And Mae had just told me that second."
Lexi gasped, her eyes flying down to her friends stomach and then back up as she smiled. "You too!?" She asked, thrillled. "When are you due?"
Demetri laughed and ran up to them, his arma spread. "James!" He exclaimed. "Who's the girl?"
((Not yet :) I have surgery next week :P))Damon grinned "we are too! Congrats! We are having a baby girl"
Mae smiled "three months, I don't know what it is...when are you due?"
James smiled and hugged Demetri "This is my twin sister London, she ain't some girl!"
((0.o hope all goes well!))Torch grinned, shaking his head. "Well isnt that a coincidence! I have bo idea what we're having, to be honest." He chuckled. "Didnt even know we were getting another one till right now...."
Lexi laughed happily. "Three months! We could be delivering at the same time!" She grabbed her hand in excitement. "Do you know where you want to have the kid this time? Home? Hospital?"
London nodded shyly. "Hi." She said, her voice soft.
Demetri smiled and bowed. "Nice to meet you." He grinned at James. "What do you all wanna do now?
Damon shook his head "we were...and I felt a bump, human doctor gave all these crap antibiotics but devil one did an ultrasound...it was crazy, but she said it was growing healthy!"Mae smiled "I'm hoping hospital...it just was too scary not having anyone knowing what they were doing! What about you?"
James grinned "we are building a club house! My dad has the wood and everything!"
Torch smiled happily "well im bappy for you about that." He said enthusiastically. "Not a surprise that a human doctor didnt know what to do though. Humans and immortals dont really mix. The humans are all so young and inexperienced...."Lexi nodded. "The hospital was good last time, but seeing that I cant go back to hell, itll probably be a human hospital. I wouldnt want to go to heaven, because Damon couldnt follow me there."
Demetri's eyes widened. "Seriously!? That is so cool! Can I help?"
Damon nodded his head sadly and looked at the wood excited like a kid "so how big are you thinking? Do you have blueprints or an idea?" Mae tilted her head confused "Damon's a mutt I thought? Since he saved his brother and all? Or am I mistaken on that?"
James grinned and nodded "yeah! Let's go!" He waited for London though he really wanted to charge around like Demetri and be a boy! But he'd never just leave his sister.
Torch chuckled, shaking his head. "James and London did the blueprints actually. Its going pretty big..."Lexi nodded. "Getting into heavrn itself wouldnt be the problem." She said, huffing. "And I would be fine with it if I wasnt pregnant. Its just that I cant watch his back for the knives of prejudice angels when im in the hospital." She explained.
London giggled and ran outside. "Here's our supplies! "
Demetri grinned. "When can we start?"
Damon took the paper and chuckled "your son might have a future in architecture!" He praised and saw the kids run down "what tree are we doing it in?" James pointed to the big oak one "this one! It's the biggest, and mom likes the others." He explained
Mae nodded "ah yes that would be awkward! Let's both do it at a human hospital then, just in case we deliver at the exact same time we can still support eachother right?"
Torch's eyes brightened with pride. "Yeah. He is pretty good with it." Then he nodded in agreement. "We were going to build as soon as Mae got home.""Who's Mae?" London piped up.
Torch chuckled. "Your mother"
Demetri tugged on Damon's sleeve. "Dad! Dad! They're building a treehouse!" He exclaimed.
Lexi smiled in agreement. "Yes. That sounds like a great idea." She agreed.
James looked shocked "mom's name is Mae? Then what's yours?" He asked never considering that parents have first names. Damon chuckled "I heard, and we are going to help!" He ruffled his hair.
Mad blinked at the boys "oh right you can start, Lexi and I are going to go inside and talk."
Torch laighed softly at his astonishment and shook his head. "My name is Alex, but no one calld me that. And im Dad to you mister." He smiled.Demetri jumped in excitement. "I cant wait!"
Lexi smiled fondly at the kids and two boys, or rather, two men. "Lets go inside." She agreed, walking into the living room. "Pregnancy is exciting, but such a pain."
James looked at him weird and shook his head "you don't look like an Alex dad..." He looked at London "what you think Loo?"Damon chuckled and flew up and started to measure the tree "Torch I think we are going to need to cut down some branches!"
Mae nodded and smiled rubbing her stomach "yeah, I'm grateful the kids will be at school so I don't have to worry about all three, how did Demetri take the news?"
London shook her head. "No. Definitely not an alex." She agreed.Torch shook his head, smiling. He nodded. "Alright!" He called up to Damon, "lets get started then. Come on kids."
Lexi shook her head. "How you are managing two seems a wonder to me. They grow up so fast..." she said, sitting down slowly and somewhat stiffly because of her slowly swelling stomach, "Demetri took it very well. He was asking quite a few questions...." she shook her head.
Damon grabbed the saw and started sawing at the largest branch making sure no one was under it "look out below!" He measured again and sawed off one more branch "Torch we are all good up here!"James picked up the branch "this could be extra wood for the tree house!"
Mae smiled "ah did you have the bird and the bees talk? I haven't told the twins about the baby yet...that's what I'm afraid of." She admitted
Torch nodded. "Great. Yes. That works well. And the wood can definitely be used." London tried her very best to pick up and carry a branch, but she couldnt lift it.
Lexi nodded. "Damon talked with him. It went well as far as I can tell." She said hobestly. I was worried about having that talk at first as well."
Damon smiled "alright...that will be good, you and James will be best friends!"
