I have finished the book which has sat on my TBR for a long time, and I never imagined that a Colleen McCullough would let me down, however I am disappointed. Nearly gave up a quarter of the way through, but plodded on. I can't put my finger on what it was, the story didn't really take me anywhere, and it really didn't seem to finish at all! I guess there was a reason for it stagnating on my shelf, and this strengthens my resolve to clear out anything I'm really not excited about.

This book is worth a look if you like YA (and as I said it is Australian). Will have a look whether in the next 10 days I can squeeze in on"medium" level

I didn't complete this challenge, had a bit of a tough month and I find I can't concentrate for very long so my reading habits have changed. I am catching up on some crime novels so at least I'm still able to read something!

8. In Montmartre: Picasso, Matisse and the Birth of Modernist Art by Sue Roe. The author is from England. 3 stars it's a good art history type book but could've used more pictures of the works mentioned.
I'm still going to try to read a book published in 2017.
