I wanted to say that I haven't had much luck in sales with my latest book. But it is slowly selling. A few days ago a reader on here told me she read my book, loved it, and would recommend to others. I am always happy to know my work moved someone.I wanted everyone to know that starting today and ending on Nov. 17th at midnight, you can download the book for just 99cents. The book is called: Through The Eyes of Children: Poems of Young Victims of Neglect, Abuse, and Violence.

Never despair of a book's sales. The one that has been selling the most for me was the first one I wrote which took off quite well, then slumped completely. I thought 'that's it' it will never sell again, it is too old. Suddenly, following a successful advertising campaign, it took off and has never looked back. So, as you say in your profile, don't give up! :o)
Even if you have steady sales you'll be doing better than me. I sell paperbacks when I buy them myself for something. As for ebooks, I haven't sold one in ages.
Those stickers you sent really came in handy, thank you Dennis. And thank you for that sweet card you sent Christine Romey!!! Barbara Mojica there is a dad bringing his kids by the booth to have you sign there books. Not sure what time but I told him you’d stop by! Heading to bed early. Walking like a cowboy right now I’m in so much pain 😂 Xoxo.

So lovely to see all the books and I hope lots and lots land in eager, lucky hands.
I don't know if this is a good thing or not. After over a week of working on it, I've got Missing Remnants into Kindle Unlimited. I've got some Amazon adverts running in the UK so far and I've changed my keywords around. I dunno. Maybe it'll make a difference, maybe it won't.

Thanks Carmel and Sam. So far I have succeeded in spending more money on Amazon ads since I reactivated them. We’ll see.

I just saw Amazon is running a sale! Use promo code NOVBOOK18 to save $5.00 when you spend $20.00 or more on Books offered by Amazon.com. It looks like the offer is good through November 25th. Here are their promotion details: https://www.amazon.com/gp/promotions/...
Totally random, unexpected, not even on my secret, hopeful wish list. The Squeezor Is Coming! got on the Top 50 Most Popular Reviews on Goodreads this week. (https://www.goodreads.com/review/best...)
I am knocked over. It's thanks to Miranda Reads, who reviewed it here: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
In the midst of thinking I'm not doing enough, this really helps me think that I _can_ do it, this whole writing dream. I needed that. :)

Congratulations, Becky - it's a great review. I love hearing stories like this.

How very sweet! Congratulations!

I have been out of the loop for some time and am sorry I missed out on this. Is this an annual event? When should I be on the lookout for this next year?

I had a direct inquiry about purchasing my books in bulk because of the Miami Book Fair! No purchase from that person yet, but it means that my books were seen by the right people. I have also been looking over my end of the year sales and they have gone up some this year. The reason I wanted to share this is because the only real advertising I did this year was with this group and the Indie Authors Magazine opportunities which I know many of you did too. This "something good happened" is not about the sales, but the fact that people are seeing our books! Thanks you to everyone who has helped organize these opportunities and to everyone who has helped promote each other during them. Continued best wishes for all of you. Hugs
I didn't even notice, but that makes me happy too. I am the person who takes a picture of my odometer when I notice I am rolling symmetrical or patterned numbers. Ok...I am going to stop now before I reveal how much if a nerd I am. Haha!
lol. My mother worked in the Devil Building. We called it that because the address was 666- she called it that because she said her boss was Lucifer.
I love 1111 too Carole. I consider it my good luck time. As far as 666 goes, I have been known to buy an extra candy bar or pump a little extra gas when my total at checkout has 666 in it. Not saying I am superstitious but...
Carole wrote: "I also go nuts over 1111."That reminds me of something. Fair warning, though. This is not a happy story.
I had a coworker who joked about always noticing 11:11 on the clock. She mentioned it to me several times and said she'd been noticing it for years.
Then one day she got a phone call. I wasn't paying much attention, but at some point it became obvious it wasn't a good phone call. When she hung up, she looked at me and said quietly, "Eleven eleven." Which is when the call came in.
A bit later she told me the call was about the husband of a friend of hers, an electrician who had suffered a fatal work-related accident that morning.
She never mentioned 11:11 again.
Okay. Back to your regularly scheduled horseplay . . .
