So glad you got good news!

Thank you. I've sometimes joked with Kathy about that. "Time to see the herpetologist, dear." She usually laughs and then scolds me. ;-)

Really pleased to see you back, Anna. And what could be better news on the Something Good Happened Thread.

Hope you've all sold shed-loads of books - that would be Something Good too.

Excellent!
I love the "If you were me..." idea - really must help with understanding other cultures/nations. Well deserved, Carole.
Thanks, Anna. I loved writing those books. I think of them as more as love-letters to my grandkids. lol

Excellent news, Alex!
Alex wrote: "Cheers, Ted. It only took me 3 days and 5 mins to set up the pre-order. 5 mins to do it and 3 days to get around to it, lol."That makes perfect sense! LOL
So pleased to hear you're powering ahead, Alex, and what a wonderfully supportive group this is.I've got another few weeks of being totally overloaded but after that maybe I can keep up with you all a bit better! In the meantime, off you go go go!
Thanks, Alex. I've definitely been overtired! Slept wonderfully well last night as I can see an end in sight - bit distant at the moment though. It's not 'bad' stuff - just exhausting.I'd pencilled in Saturday as a day off but it's been gobbled up. I have a writing day today and so far, I've had very few interruptions - hence I have a chance to break from the writing and post here!

If you lovely people can spare the time and have the inclination, I'd be grateful for whatever efforts you can make..."
Congratulations, Alex! Wonderful news. Wishing your book popularity! Hugs
The question I have is where are they distributing paperbacks to? I’d like to throw Missing Remnants out wider. But I am thinking of throwing the next one into KU to see if it makes a blind bit of difference. I haven’t done much promo recently and I’m back to buying my own books just to see something sold!
I received the same email so I’ve also signed up. I’m tempted by the possibility of a bricks and mortar being able to order one of my books for the last person on the planet who doesn’t have an Amazon account.
