Here are my picks for you. I hope you enjoy them.
1. Best Picture-Through 2016 528 movies have been nominated for Best Picture.
Sweet Dreams by Ashley, Kristen (TBR) - 35,350 reviews
Garden Spells by Allen, Sarah Addison (NEW) - 68,792 reviews

2. Best Director-William Wyler holds the record for directing more Best Picture nominees (13) and more Best Picture winners (3) than anyone else. His first award was for Withering Heights in 1939.
The Bride by Garwood, Julie (NEW) - Historical. My favorite one as well.
Tempt Me at Twilight by Kleypas, Lisa (NEW) - Historical.

3. Lead Actor/Actress-Katherine Hepburn has the most lead actor wins at 4 followed by Jack Nicholson with 3. Meryl Streep holds the record for nominations at 19 (15 for the leading role).
Managed by Callihan, Kristen (TBR) - I think a famous manager should count.
The Wall of Winnipeg and Me by Zapata, Mariana (NEW) - Famous football player.

4. Adapted Screenplay-
The Notebook by Nicholas Sparks (NEW) - Movie/book.
Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen (NEW) - Movie/book.

5. Foreign Language-
The Raven Prince by Hoyt, Elizabeth (NEW) - England.
Dragon Actually by G.A. Aiken (NEW) - Foreign,

6. Red Carpet-It’s all about the clothes and walking down the red carpet!
Tangled by Chase, Emma (TBR) - Red on cover.
Talk Me Down by Dahl, Victoria (NEW) - Red on cover.

7. Jimmy Kimmel Hosts-Late Night comedian makes his debut this year hosting the Academy Awards.
Fury by Dohner, Laurann (TBR) - 1st in series
Cry Wolf by Patricia Briggs (NEW) - 1st in series

8. The Razzie Awards (Golden Raspberry Awards)-Take place the night prior to the academy awards…and feature the ‘worst in’…basically the opposite of the Academy Awards.
Play by Scott, Kylie (TBR) - Raspberry on cover.
Rhapsodic by Thalassa, Laura (NEW) - Bad-boy hero.

I had fun looking through your shelves, although I had to stretch myself a bit to find some new recommendations for you. I hope you like them.
1. Best Picture: Clean Sweep by Ilona Andrews is amazing. There is a twist on all the paranormal creatures and you'll want to be an innkeeper by the time you finish. Shifting Dreams by Elizabeth Hunter is set in a small town of shifters in California who hire a human sheriff and don't tell him the town secret so he is at a disadvantage when murder happens. I loved the characters in the town.

2. Best Director: Lord of Scoundrels by Loretta Chase sounds pretty interesting, I like plucky heroines. Or check out Mistress by Amanda Quick where the heroine believes the hero dead so decides to pose as his mistress to figure out who is blackmailing her family.

3. Lead Actor/Actress: Well I'm pretty sure the MC is named Jack in this book - You Don't Know Jack by Erin McCarthy. Since you grew up in the 80s, this book might be like a stroll down memory lane because even though it takes place in the dystopian future, much of the plot is about an interactive VR world with memories of the past as the MC becomes famous the closer he gets to winning the big contest in Ready Player One by Ernest Cline

4. Adapted Screenplay: Ok, I took the easy way out and went for square shaped objects on the cover. First from your TBR is Dog Collar Crime by Adrienne Giordano which was a fun romp with a family "connected" to the mob. Or check out Truly, Madly by Heather Webber where the MC's family have a "gift" for matchmaking but hers was twisted to being able to find objects which isn't that helpful when you have to temporarily take over the family matchmaking business. Fun and kooky families in both these books.

5. Foreign Language: Show No Mercy by Cindy Gerard sounding interesting. Summon the Keeper by Tanya Huff has the MC and her cat familiar taking over a boarding house that has a hole to hell in the basement.

6. Red Carpet: Poison Study by Maria V. Snyder is an awesome read where the MC is let out of jail and given the choice of being executed or becoming the king's new poison tester. It is an intriguing world and learning about poison was interesting. Red Hot Fury by Kasey MacKenzie the MC is a Fury who is investigating a dead sister Fury. I like the mythological twists to some of the standard paranormal creatures.

7. Jimmy Kimmel Hosts: This book is both 1st in series and humorous as the bunny shifter works for Furry United Coalition and is sent to protect a bear shifter in Bunny and the Bear by Eve Langlais. Semi-Charmed by Isabel Jordan can't stop predicting vampire attacks even though the agency has been discredited so she needs to find a partner/slayer to help her save people even though it is outside the law now.

8. The Razzie Awards (Golden Raspberry Awards): We've got a couple bad boys in She's Gotta Be Mine by Jennifer Skully - after all what could be more bad than possibly being a serial killer? Surprisingly this book is a humorous romance. Or check out the UF James Bond type with Eddie Drood being thrown out of his powerful family and being chased by everyone in The Man With the Golden Torc by Simon R. Green.

I hope to have your picks up by tonight or tomorrow morning at the latest.
