Finished one of my picks

Hey Nora! We are half way there...picks are due around the 27th or so the month prior. March's challenge us just around the corner...watch for a post on the 20th and join us then...it's a lot of fun and you'll have a chance to pick for someone as well! Please join us then!

Finished one of my picks

Elke-
Aw, that sucks. While picking for you, I was able to see that your stats show she is your most read author and I was hoping this would be a good one. My first, from my TBR, was ok. So I understand what your sentiments. Let's hope your second pick is better.

Yay! I'm glad you liked it! :)

I finished Blurred Lines by Lauren Layne that you recommended me. It was such a quick and cute read. I'll try to get to more of your picks before the month is out!

Glad you enjoyed it, I did too :)

When I saw it on your TBR, I immediately added it to mine! I will read it soon. Glad you liked it!

I just finished reading Breakfast at Tiffany's, and I must say, I was disappointed in it. I have been hearing it hyped and have been wanting to read it for literally years, so I'm glad I finally got to it (thanks to your nudge!), but it was not at all what I expected. I had always seen the heroine as a nice person and a typically nice heroine, and she was not, at all. Still though, I thank you for giving me the rec so that I finally got to it! (And had it not been for that, it would still be sitting on my shelf gathering dust - lol - now I can move it on!)
Now I am on to some of your other recs that will be much better!

Here are my picks for you. I looked at your shelves and noticed that you tend to read interracial romances but also some funny chick-lit books. I hope I'm right and that you find somet..."
Hey Jenny-
I'm currently reading Worth The Wait. I am really enjoying it. And it is interracial with an Hispanic female and white male.

You did a great job this month! I was able to find a lot on audiobook at the library so I've done pretty well so far- I think I might be on track to read them all...this will probably never happen again- it was intense.lol.
Really enjoyed J.D. Robb's In Death & the Evanovich Fox & O'Hare series. Most all the series you recommended I think I'll continue reading. Thanks

Yay, I'm glad you liked it! Eloisa James is one of my favorites too. If you haven't read it yet, her Fairy Tales series is awesome :)

Sorry to hear you didn't enjoy it.

I have listened to

Next up is

I think I can get one or two more in before the month is up.
Julia Quinn was my favorite of the recs. Blood vow was disappointing. I love BDB, but that one didn't hit the spot

I have finished my first pick

Yayyy!

I finished Wait for It

Here are my picks for you. I hope you enjoy them.

Hey Ashley,
I only got to read one pick so far:
Rhapsodic turned out to be great, though I wasn't so sure about it in the beginning. Thank you so much for chosing it for me! Can't wait to read the second book in this series!

I'm hoping for Hidden Figures! I loved it. But I heard Moonlight was great, I want to see that one, so I would be happy if that won too :)

I finished Wait for It

Yay, I'm glad you liked it! It's still on my TBR, maybe I will also read it soon :)

Have fun watching the Oscars! I'm looking forward to staying up all night (as I'm not in the US), so glad I don't have to go to work tomorrow! :)
I'm rooting for Toni Erdmann for best foreign language film :)

I only managed to get one pick done this month, but I really enjoyed it. Thanks for the recommendation.

Sorry, this is soo late...I was out of the country on vacation when this challenge ended so I'm just getting caught up now :) I was able to read one book (I've been in such a reading slump!) - The Duchess War - thanks for the push to get this off my TBR shelf. It started off pretty slow and hard for me to get into (but maybe that's more due to my slump?) but picked up in the end and I really enjoyed! I have the next one in the series on my TBR shelf now too :)
Thanks again!
Kristin
