Elke (ejurca) | 1810 comments Kimberly,

Finished one of my picks Under Pressure (Body Armor, #1) by Lori Foster - it is by Lori Foster who is one of my most favorite authors....I usually giver her 4-5 stars. But this one was a 3.5...I don't know, I just didn't feel like it was her best writing! Anyway on to pick #2...maybe, Lol!!

Elke-
Aw, that sucks. While picking for you, I was able to see that your stats show she is your most read author and I was hoping this would be a good one. My first, from my TBR, was ok. So I understand what your sentiments. Let's hope your second pick is better.

Carrie (icanhasbooks) | 987 comments Christine, I have my first book finished. It was one new to me, The Hating Game by Sally Thorne . It was very cute. I gave it 4 stars.

Jennifer Jones | 4 comments I read my book 'The Accidental Bride', it was definitely 5 stars. I can't wait to read the 3rd one.

enqi ☾⋆˚*̣̩✩ (feyrhys) Hey J.C.,

I finished Blurred Lines by Lauren Layne that you recommended me. It was such a quick and cute read. I'll try to get to more of your picks before the month is out!

Glad you enjoyed it, I did too :)

Tink Magoo is bad at reviews (tinkmagoo) | 1385 comments I've finished 2 more of my picks, so that's 4 now, which is miles better than I usually manage

Paper Princess (The Royals, #1) by Erin Watt - 4 stars and
By Your Side by Kasie West - 4.5 stars

When I saw it on your TBR, I immediately added it to mine! I will read it soon. Glad you liked it!

message 164: by Nancy H (new)

Nancy H | 1111 comments Hi Carrie,
I just finished reading Breakfast at Tiffany's, and I must say, I was disappointed in it. I have been hearing it hyped and have been wanting to read it for literally years, so I'm glad I finally got to it (thanks to your nudge!), but it was not at all what I expected. I had always seen the heroine as a nice person and a typically nice heroine, and she was not, at all. Still though, I thank you for giving me the rec so that I finally got to it! (And had it not been for that, it would still be sitting on my shelf gathering dust - lol - now I can move it on!)

Now I am on to some of your other recs that will be much better!

You did a great job this month! I was able to find a lot on audiobook at the library so I've done pretty well so far- I think I might be on track to read them all...this will probably never happen again- it was intense.lol.
Really enjoyed J.D. Robb's In Death & the Evanovich Fox & O'Hare series. Most all the series you recommended I think I'll continue reading. Thanks

Next up is Big Rock by Lauren Blakely

I think I can get one or two more in before the month is up.

Julia Quinn was my favorite of the recs. Blood vow was disappointing. I love BDB, but that one didn't hit the spot

Madison ✨ | 90 comments Hey Mindy!

Sorry, this is soo late...I was out of the country on vacation when this challenge ended so I'm just getting caught up now :) I was able to read one book (I've been in such a reading slump!) - The Duchess War - thanks for the push to get this off my TBR shelf. It started off pretty slow and hard for me to get into (but maybe that's more due to my slump?) but picked up in the end and I really enjoyed! I have the next one in the series on my TBR shelf now too :)

Thanks again!
Kristin
