Got a bit behind in my reviews...

I finished Close to Heaven by Pamela Clare, Colorado High Country #5, and LOVED it! Here’s my review.

I finished Code of Honor by Tonya Burrows, HORNET #4, and it was high octane action. Here’s my review.

I finished Diamond Drop by Roxanne St. Claire, Bullet Catchers #8.75, the final book in the series. Here’s my review .

Finally, I finished The Christmas Stranger by Anna Campbell, a lovely little holiday story. Here’s my review.

I’m now reading Shadow Fall by Laura Griffin, Tracers #9.

Erin (erin36) | 484 comments I've been inexcusably absent from Goodreads this year. I've been keeping up with things by popping in and reading threads like this one but updating has fallen by the wayside in my busy life! I get so many ideas from all of you though, so I'm grateful that you all find the time to post about what you're reading :).

My most noteworthy accomplishment of the year was probably reading through books 7-13 (the final book) of Kim Harrison's Hollows series. I waited and waited for the Trent payoff I had heard so many people speak of and it paid off big in the end. This ended up being one of my favourite UF series even though I was wishy-washy about it for the first several books.

The Witch With No Name (The Hollows, #13) by Kim Harrison

I'm currently working my way through Cassandra Clare's Infernal Devices series and have finished the first book, Clockwork Angel (The Infernal Devices, #1) by Cassandra Clare . It was quite good and I'm on to the second book in the series now.

Good to see you pop in, Erin! You’re missed but I certainly understand.

*sigh* I back burnered The Hollows as I was getting frustrated. #5 is up next for me and I’m not sure when I'll get back to it. I’m really happy the last book came through for you, though. There’s hope!

Glad that The Hollows paid off in the end. I'm still struggling through because I do like the series overall despite my issues with it.

I finished Until Tomorrow by Abbie Williams, Shore Leave Cafe #7, and it continues to be a marvel at how it connects with the author’s historical series, the Dove Trilogy. Here’s my review.

Erin! So good to have you pop in. You have definitely been missed.

And that's really good to hear about The Hollows. I think all four of us (you, Lauren, Jonetta, and me) had very similar issues with the first few books. But I also like the series for the most part. Looks like I might have to dive back in. My list says I have book #4 up next, but I think I read it. Must not have updated everything from Shelfari.

And I love Infernal Devices, such a good series. I'm looking forward to getting to Lady Midnight from The Dark Artifices series.

Sunny (wkonsunshine) | 426 comments I'm also on book 4 of The Hollows, but it has been so long I need a refresher before going onto 5.
