I know a lot of you have given up on the Hannah Swenson series, but when I saw that Wedding Cake Murder, the newest book, was available as an ARC on NetGalley, I had to request and read it to see if Hannah actually ended up getting married. (view spoiler) I suspected the killer before it was revealed at the end of the book, but I didn't think it was as obvious as it has been in past books from the series. And I've saved several of the recipes to try, as they sound really good :)

Next up: Shards of Murder, the second in the Webb's Glass Shop series. I liked the first one, so I hope this one is just as good.

I'm only a couple chapters in, but so far the main characters from the previous books are present. I get a sense, and I'll know more once I've read a bit further, that the author is more comfortabke with this one - less forced.

I've read this series and love it. You don't need to know much about Christie's works. It's explained in the book. Happy reading!

You might try requesting your library to get it, if you have access to one. Or Amazon. I know there are buy/sell/trade sites, but I've never used one.

I've only read one book in this series, the 5th one, and I liked it, but haven't felt compelled to read any more. I also really like the Charmed Pie Shoppe books and this series seems okay. I had heard from others that the main character in this series was very unlikeable early on, so that's why I picked a later book to start with. Maybe that's what you're having a problem with? I also REALLY dislike her Book Retreat series. Got on my last nerve!
