BLynne I just finished Crime and Poetry by Amanda Flower. It was fun to read and I really liked the main characters Violet, her new cat Emerson, and Grandma Daisy. I am looking forward to reading the second book in this series when it comes out and would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys cozy mysteries.

Kerri | 17 comments I'm reading An Early Wake (County Cork #3) by Sheila Connolly. An Early Wake (County Cork, #3) by Sheila Connolly The location and the characters, especially Maura feel realistic. The pacing is great, it's easy to read 50 plus pages and not realize.

message 359: by Gary (new)

Gary Sundell | 794 comments Honeymoon in High Heels is not a full novel, it is a novella. I just knew Maddie and Jack would not have a relaxing honeymoon. Maddie finds another dead body....the only book missing a dead body is the Christmas short story. I enjoyed it

I am reading Death Wears a Mask by Ashley Weaver. It's an historical mystery set in England in the 1930's. The MC is Amory Ames married to devilishly handsome Milo - think Harriet Vane and Lord Peter Wimsey or Nick & Nora Charles - with touches of humor and relationship drama.

Enjoyed Queen of Hearts by Rhys Bowen. I 'read' this one in the car - it was an audiobook. Georgie and her mother travel to America so the setting is different from others in the series. The narrator did a very good job with the different characters' voices and the mystery was very very good.

Queen of Hearts (Her Royal Spyness Mysteries, #8) by Rhys Bowen

Started reading the next one, Malice at the Palace. Enjoying this one too.
