Hi everyone - my internet is finally working again! yay!
So I just checked and we have all read a book for the week and 6 of us have read for the detour.
I'm just not sure if Lauri or Laila Jane are reading for the detour? (for our 7th person). We can't move until 5th March anyway, but just wanted to check :)

Glad your internet is working again! It's a nightmare when mine doesn't work!

I am so swamped at work, I'm brain dead! But Im still alive!!

Could someone add it to the spreadsheet, please?
So there's the castle detour... Am reading The Abbey for an A book... Do we need any other letters for a spell out?
Also reading Red Rising and An Ember in the Ashes
Either of those should be good for a rebellion, right?

It's nice and quiet and cozy here. Hope to finish off a couple more books by tomorrow. I'm torn between reading and the Harry Potter weekend.

I'll add your book & Drishti's books to the spreadsheet.

Thanks!

It's been a quiet day luckily and am now just watching the new season of House of Cards. This show is so addictive!
Looks like we have finished stop 5! Awesome work everyone :)
So stop 6 is Victoria, Brazil

Detour is Read a book where a character is a werewolf" and SIX of us have already read one! :o
So Laila Jane and Jess - up to you two who wants to read our 7th
Everyone else, we just need to read one book for the week. (our next stop is a Task spell-it-out of Salalah if you want to read something for that)

@Lauri - yes, I think either of those books would work for a rebellion. Sounds like you had a great day!

Yeah, back to work today. Sigh*
Do you ever sit at your desk and just wish you were reading a BOOK? That was my day today.
The saving grace is that I got to go to the library! Yaaayyyy!

I realised about a minute ago that I had a library book due back today (it's 7.30pm now). My library doesn't have fees but I still feel really bad! Lol.

Our Souls at Night

Blade of the Samurai

Home for a Spell

The H might come in handy...
I've been reading some larger books, but now I'm trying to fit in a few smaller ones for another challenge
So this week I finished two NetGalley books:
and
Both are cute middle grade/YA books, but I preferred Eliza Rose as I felt it was better written and I love the premise (King Henry VIII's court) and the author is a historian and curator at Hampton Court Palace which is pretty cool

Wait - should I use that for the S for the spell-it-out? I should finish another book tomorrow/Friday which I can add for this week's instead.

How did you like that book btw? I loved

The only low spot on my horizon is a dentist appointment tomorrow. :(
I should finish up An Ember in the Ashes by tomorrow. That will be my rebellion book!

Lauri, it's cold and rainy here too. I hate this weather. :-\
It is so stupidly hot here, I'm over it. Summer started last September and it *still* hasn't left. I love warm weather, but even I am completely done! Bring on Autumn!
In other news, we have finished our stop and being the 12th March we can move on to our 7th stop - SALALAH - yay!

So... What letters do we still need for Salalah? I'm sure I'll have one, or be able to pick it up tomorrow at the library!
The dentist today was brutal -- I had two fillings and I just hate Novocain! The one good thing about my dentist is that his office is in the Liliha Bakery building. They make these awesome things called coco puffs. They're like cream puffs, but are filled with a milk chocolate pudding and topped with chantilly. Yum-o!
Tomorrow should more than help make up for the bad Saturday --library and a pedicure. :)

Lauri - I added your book to the spreadsheet. And those coco puffs sound amazing!

Lauri oh my those coco puffs sound yummy!!!
Whoever added The Score for me, thank you! And Laila Jane - I loved that series! Was a little surprised that they were so good & that all the MCs were so likable (male & female). Dean even came out on top if you could believe it :P
Finished The Last Kingdom today which could work for L. Or A for character Alfred. I'll add it to the spreadsheet and if we need to use it, we can. Otherwise it'll be my book for the week :)
Sorry for being a bit MIA.
last weekend I aggravated my wrist and ended up with Intersection Syndrome (I had it once before about 2 years ago). anyway, it means I can't do a whole lot with my right hand including typing ; so I've not been writing a whole lot online over the last week.
Last time it took months to improve, but I'm hoping that because I started treatment early this time won't be anywhere near as bad :o

I finished Speak on March 6th, and In the Hand of the Goddess March 13th. I'll add them to the spreadsheet tomorrow but I wanted to quickly pop in and update in case we were moving to our next stop - which I see we have, yay!

I had a strained ulnar nerve some years back. My doctor wanted complete rest for that hand for one week. My husband followed me around watching me so I wouldn't do laundry or write. He even cut up my food for me! Touching, but at the same time very annoying!

Really appreciate it!
