My aversion to cats, Groovy, stems from the fact that the one cat my family had was a mean b*stard of a tom who kept sinking his claws into the top of my head after jumping onto it from my bedroom door as a kid and constantly getting infested by fleas no matter how many times we treated him to flea killing baths and collars and had the apartment fumigated. And that was just the GOOD NEWS about him! The bad news? We were, quite literally, his last chance family.
Yeah, true enough.
I saw a distressing video on Facebook yesterday. A bag had been thrown into a river and two men were trying to fish it out. Initially I was dreading a bag of puppies or kitties. When they unravelled the bag, it was a baby.

Was the baby still alive?
As mentioned to you Janet
Real Vitmin C does work , Just most people buy cheap ascorbic acid, that burns your stomach lining causing leaky gut syndrome.
Real Vitamin C, ascorbate acid is not acid, and does work.

Amber, I heard cats can be temperamental, but WOW! Did he jump on everyone like that, or just you? Poor thing!!
Now I love babies. And I really don't understand what kind of mind-set throws a baby in a river. I hope they catch whoever did it and put them in a room full of attack dogs for a minute.

Groovy: Just me. Dad was usually at work and Mom was at home while I was at Head Start so evidently it was just me. Or he had physical issues due to lack of whiskers and a tail as stumpy as that of a Manx and I was a convenient target because I was the only one of us who left the bedroom door open.
Three lovely days off, lovely every day, great to get in the garden, go out for lunches.
Back to work for one day tomorrow.
Then off for Easter, and family coming over for four days, which they do every year.
Garden all tidy, Jacuzzi filled and ready for family.
Work....
Tennis comeback tonight, doubles.
Snooker last night
Mixed doubles Thursday night.
Virus much better, back much better.
Janet hope you are feeling a little better.

What do you guys think: Did you ever think it was possible to shred a cello?

Yep. Amazing what can be done if you practice enough AND have some innate talents, right? Here's another example of what you can do with the above qualities: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gBkRz...

2 nights playing tennis, muscles, back killing me !!
That's what happens when you rest for two weeks.
But got to get the fitness back slowly and carefully

Sean, live by that last sentence you wrote. Please don't have a relapse. But I'm so glad you're recovering. I hope your wife is, too. Take it easy this weekend and have someone massage that back:)

wish I had the talent. That was epic. :D

I'm in the process of looking for a new internet service provider.
I hope everyone else has a nice weekend, I'll probably be mad the entire time!!

He's one reason I will never again fall into the trap of thinking classical can be boring. Not that I am a late comer to classical. Raised on it and stuff like both the Beetles and The Beach Boys.
Groovy: hope you get your problem fixed soon.

I know some of you have read Tear Drop by Irish author, Joanne Clancy and liked. It turns out the author's works were plagiarised and her books have been removed from Amazon. I'm hoping the following link works from my phone. http://m.independent.ie/entertainment...
Sorry I haven't been around, I was away for a few days at a family wedding. Hope you're all well and had/having a good Easter break.

Groovy: You're welcome.

I read the article Janet, I think that's terrible. I have it on my Kindle although I'm not sure I want to read it now.
That is awesome Aymen. Love to see children enjoying books. :)

I never knew she had vanished which is why it came as quite a shock when I was sent the link. I got Tear Drop on the basis of Chris and Sue's reviews. Glad I haven't read it. Guess she thought she'd get away with it.

Delightful Aymen. I also love to see little kids absorbed by new books. Doesn't happen much.

Told my husband about this, he was wondering how much money Joanne Clancy may have made and there has to be some lawsuit about this, yes?
Very important private message I had.
Please part on to as many authors and readers as possible.

You mean like Trump? Or Fox News?

I had that happen a while ago and found the identical modem at Best Buy much cheaper.

Thanks, Diane. ATT decided they will fix my problem without me having to buy a new one. Thank goodness for that!

Lyin Ted, Coward Donald... the Republican candidacy is becoming a farce with the person who is able to shout the loudest being elected it seems.

That's good news, Groovy.
Gopal: No particular subject.
Horn: Horse hockey! Cruz may be a fraud because he was actually born in Canada but at least he's not as stupid as Trump is to think that Muslims will be more likely to fight against ISIS if they're banned from entering the US! http://abcnews.go.com/US/trump-muslim...
Just read this piece. Some books look pretty good. I've read one, got two waiting and definitely interested in another.
