Can't believe I had acquired over 1K Butterfly points at care2! Spent all but 5. How? School meal for a kid and protected 40 acres of Sumatran rain forest!
Groovy: The 1K+ Butterfly points on Care2 was actually GOOD news. I just hadn't paid much attention to how many points I'd acquired or just how quickly I'd acquired them.

Message from Autumn, added here, as not sending group messages at the moment, as we lose 4-8 members each time sad but true.
Could you send out a little email to the group about this in case they want to watch? I know this is in the US, and has been in the UK, I am not sure about other territories, but is something to look forward to.
"The Lifetime miniseries Agatha Christie’s "And Then There Were None," based on one of the best-selling crime novels of all time with 100 million copies sold worldwide, makes its US premiere in two parts on Lifetime, Sunday, March 13 at 8pm ET/PT and Monday, March 14 at 9pm ET/PT. The miniseries stars Douglas Booth ("Great Expectations," "The Riot Club"), Emmy® Award nominee Charles Dance ("Game of Thrones," "The Imitation Game"), Maeve Dermody ("Black Water," "Beautiful Kate"), Burn Gorman ("The Dark Knight Rises," "Torchwood"), BAFTA winner Anna Maxwell Martin ("The Bletchley Circle," "Death Comes to Pemberley"), Emmy and Golden Globe® Award nominee Sam Neill ("Peaky Blinders," "The Tudors"), Academy Award® nominee Miranda Richardson ("Mapp & Lucia," "Parade's End"), Toby Stephens ("Black Sails," "Jane Eyre"), Screen Actors Guild Award® nominee Noah Taylor ("Peaky Blinders," "Game of Thrones"), and Aidan Turner ("Poldark," "The Hobbit Trilogy").
Set in 1939 while Europe teeters on the brink of war, "And Then There Were None" follows ten strangers with dubious pasts who are lured to Soldier Island, an isolated rock near the Devon coast in southern England. Cut off from the mainland, with their hosts mysteriously absent, they are each accused of a terrible crime, and when members of the party start to mysteriously die, they all realize they may be harboring a murderer among their number. Who will survive? And who is the killer?
The miniseries premiered December 26th on BBC One in the UK, garnering rave reviews from both audience and critics. The series averaged 8.7 million total viewers, with 9.5 million people tuning into the first night.
"And Then There Were None" is a co-production for BBC One and Lifetime. A+E Networks will handle international sales for "And Then There Were None" under the A+E Studios International banner. Sarah Phelps ("The Casual Vacancy," "Great Expectations") is writer and executive producer, the director is international award-winning Craig Viveiros ("The Liability," "Ghosted") and Abi Bach ("The Honorable Woman") produced. The executive producers are Mathew Prichard and Hilary Strong for Agatha Christie Productions Ltd, Karen Thrussell and Damien Timmer for Mammoth Screen and Matthew Read for the BBC."
Thanks!
Autumn

I saw the old black and white version of "And then there were none"...
I watched it. It's good enough but not riveting. Well acted though. Quite disappointed with the ending.

Sure can help.

Does anyone know if "And then there were none" will be airing in Canada? I do have A&E which I saw mentioned. We get a strange mix of all the BBC and American titles. Most American titles show up but sometimes not anywhere near the same day as when they air in the US. Many BBC titles appear but very sporadic as to when and where. I love the show Orphan Black which is a Canadian Show filmed here and yet at the end it is a BBC Production and so we cannot get it on our Netflix. Finally found it airing on SciFi channel. Current episodes air on CBC but we were late to the party so are behind. We watch Wentworth on aptn (aboriginal network) because that's where we can find it. Great TV watching here but sometimes you have to be a bit of a detective to find quirky things you'd like to watch
Starting too loose my temper with Breathing on https://www.goodreads.com/blog/show/623He or she is idiotic enough to STILL believe there really were mass rapes in Cologne on New Year's Eve. As I've told GR staff "Conspiracy theories have no place on GR."
I also had a problem with Imowen Lodestone on the same thread but that person only posted once, to the best of my knowledge.

Anybody watching the new season of 'Better Call Saul'. I really like the way they have carried over some people and themes from 'Breaking Bad.'
I haven't seen this season of You Better Call Saul but I loved last season. Gotta catch up on demand.

Good question, Brenda. Sorry to hear you and your wife aren't feeling well, again, Sean.Facebook's good for something after all: http://www.care2.com/causes/police-br...
@SeanYou have had a rough winter! Hope you feel better soon. I struggle with tendinitis too. Watch for those flare ups, take it slow. Good luck
I hate hearing that you and your wife are sick again, Sean. Is it the bronchitis? I hope not, y'all really suffered the last time.
My wife does have it all on the throat box and her voice keeps coming and going, has been signed off a week last Sunday.
Today I have phoned my work to say not feeling good at all, feel awful with a virus in the chest and throat.
Feel so tired, cold, shivering, headaches.

Get to the doctor, insist he gives you something so you won't keep getting sick like this, make plenty of home-made (not that store bought mess) chicken soup, and no venting about not being able to play tennis, surround yourself with some good books while you lounge in front of your television and you and your wife make rest your best friend for now. If I could, I'd run your errands for the two of you, but you know, the pond and all.....Question: I remember you were having some water damage in your home. Are you sure it's not a mole problem? Those symptoms you describe could be that, also.
Not good, Sean. Nothing worse than feeling run down. Hope the nasty virus exits the house soon. Rest easy.
On antiobiotics and codeine liquid.
But reading and watching films.
Going through my Sky planner !
