Guys, seriously, sharing an opinion on an opinion is NOT a sin. If you're annoyed, then move on... Just accept the fact that we can't all think alike, and we can't all agree all the time... But that does not mean things need to get heated...
PS. When two people oppose each other online, it may sound like we're 'fighting' but if that same convo were to go on in real life, it'd probably be lighter sounding. I'm a bit confused at all of this 'be peaceful' business..

Every time I type something, I'm afraid other people will take it offensively. It's hard to show someone that you mean what you say with sincerity.
Right? That's what I mean. Nothing here should be taken offensively (unless it's directed at a person).

Honestly, I see a lot of myself in Annabeth. I'm intelligent and analytical, but also prideful and judgmental. I totally understand why some people don't like her; I had pretty much zero friends before I went to a school for gifted kids. To me, that's what makes her such a beautiful character.

I'm like Annabeth, too. That's why I don't like when people judge her.
I wish I was like Annabeth because I admire her as a person so much. But I know that to an extent I am which makes me happy. :)
I am similar to Annabeth in some ways and I hate her. However i don't dislike myself. And people can't really be judgemental towards a fictional character, they either dislike that character or like that character. If you're talking about an actual person though, that would be a different story.

I don't like Jason for what he did to Reyna. He acts like he never led her on, when he did. He should have at least told her that he didn't like her as much as she liked him. Percy never led Reyna on, he stopped her the first time she mentioned it.
Yeah, that's why I like Percy so much, he's honest and outspoken and not as perfect as Jason is.
Jason is such a tease, now that I think about it.

Technically speaking, we don't know any of that. So it's kind of bizarre to speculate about how he did or did not feel. But still, I'm sure Reyna did not develop her feelings from nowhere, and how thick does Jason have to be that he can't even tell he might be leading her on, even if it was unintentional.
When his memories returned they singled out Reyna. He said(in his thoughts)that he didn't know what that would mean for him and Piper. That obviously means that he at least liked Reyna

Yeah, I'd guess something WAS going on between them but it wasn't official or they were just assumptions and none of them really HAD made a move. But even though I totally love Jason and ship Jeyna, I agree the way he treated Reyna was completely heartless. Yes, he led her on. He just said hi when he returned to CJ and went to show his "new girlfriend Piper" the camp. Yeah...not cool, Jason. The least he owes her is an apology. Or an explanation. Just SOMETHING.
But God, I WISH Jeyna happens in BoO. It would complete me <3 :')

I'll repeat. Sharing opinions is not a sin. The whole point of the thread is to share opinions.....

@lexi thanks! Annabeth lovers for life :D@ shahdia I totally agree with you. I love Reyna. And I love Leo. They are easily my favourite new characters. So obviously I would want them together. I think they'll work in the opposites attract kind of way. I can just imagine Leo making Reyna laugh.
Buut at the same time I want Leo to be happy and it's clear he likes calypso and they're so cute together so Caleo all the wayy =P
If Leo learn how to use an actual damn weapon like a sword, spear,or a bow and arrow; he would be able to work well with Reyna.

The only character(besides their enemies, obviously) I hate are Octavian and I only a little bit dislike Jason. When I first read the title of this thread, literally I screamed and locked my self in the bedroom for a long time before coming out. I TOTALLY love Annabeth, and I wasn't aware that Annabeth-haters existed. I have made peace with the concept and I will not judge people if they don't like Annabeth.

I feel like you are. You're probably not. But Annabeth is one of my most favorite female characters ever. There are such thing called character flaws. And overprotective? I disagree. She's his girlfriend. And they've been separated....for a LONG time and they are going through a lot of dangerous things. Of course she's' going to be worried about him. And you also have to remember that her fatal flaw is pride.

However, I think we all, even if it is subconscious, have felt a bit of jealousy at least once in our lives. It's just human. And she was and still is a teenager then . And come on, Percy's amazing (he's my first top fictional husband tied with Will Herondale). Who wouldn't be even a tiny bit jealous if he was dating another girl? However, she did the same thing with Rachel as she did with Tyson. She grew to not hate her.
Also, I don't understand how people can say Annabeth is "too dependent" on Percy. In my opinion, um no she's not. Have you read The Mark of Athena? At the end of that, she goes on her own SOLO quest and she does pretty freaking fantastic for herself. Percabeth has been separated many many times. They've handled themselves awesomely. Together, yes, they make the PEEEEERFECT BADA*SS TEAM, but they also are very strong individually. I mean, if you're boyfriend had been missing for..(view spoiler) wouldn't you be unhappy? And in House of Hades they both were (view spoiler). Even the strongest of people (or demigods) become more vulnerable there but they made it and for most of the time all they had were each other and Bob.
