I have no idea what they're supposed to be... all I see are Oreos.

We will all be diagnosed with clinical OCD.

I'm currenty reading A Midwinter Fantasy - but, really, I'm only planning on reading one of the stories in it. That story isn't listed singlely, so the only way I could add it would be to add the whole book... but I'm not sure I want to mark the book read, since I'm only reading part. (I do mark read DNFs, but this is a little different in my mind.)
Anyway -
I'm just seeking opinions on what others would do. Would you mark the book read to have it on your list, and just make a note that you only read the one story... or since it's just a short story/novella, would you not bother tracking it?

^this

^This for me too since you're spending time reading it.

Was gonna wait 'til the end of the month, but with the new bill coming out, I wanted to get it done

I mean we always joke about our to read lists and how long they are. But as I looked around at the (literal) stacks of books on my computer desk and shoved one out of the way to set down a glass of Coke (Coke Life half Stevia half cane sugar).
I'm not going to get through them...I just keep adding books and I have so many laying here with book marks in them.
I think an epiphany of my own mortality just swept over me.
Also an awareness of books I've been meaning to read (again literally) for years.
Oh well, not a bring down, just a moment.

I was actually expecting them to kick a fuss when I called to disconnect, but they were surprisingly chill about it.

@Mike, I think we all need a reality check every once in a while.

Mike, nice work! Do you sell them?

I got around to doing this because a guy contacted me a while back about a sheath that he could clip on his molle gear.

Doooooooo it! These are works of art. And functional. Do it!

She recently made some comment about "bloggers who get free books are professional reviewers" and I saw it and responded. It annoys me because she's making assumptions about people she doesn't even know.
She didn't respond to me but then goes and posts some passive-aggressive status update - which can only be about me or 1 other GR member...and she knows we're friends. She called me "contentious" so she "left it" but then the status update and following comments.
IDK. It really made me feel bad for a second. She's now calling names "freebie blogger" like it's ok to talk about people like that. IDK what to say - or if I should even bother.
But just sucks to have some one who you thought was a friend talk shit about you like that in that way. She KNOWS we're friends and I see her status updates. So, what's the point in doing that?

Hang in.

Thanks, Mike.

Drives me insane.
Ahhh... Goodreads drama.

Sorry she made you feel bad though! You are worth 10 of her kind though :)

Driv..."
I know, right? Ugh.

Why do you ask, Ala?

But that is definitely in no way black. That's tan or gold or light brown for sure.
That is not anywhere even close to what was on the site. It's not a bad dress, but if you're expecting a deep blue and black, and got that, I'd be irritated.
