That is not good, both physically and mentally!

I have read the first four books long long ago, but couldn't care anymore after some time. Perhaps I will try again some day, but definitely not this ebook. One book at a time please!!

Chris Haught (haughtc) | 2450 comments Yeah, I laugh every time I see someone vote for that book on Listopia's "Can't Wait Books for 2014...2015...2016 2017".

To me the only real question is who will drag out their release the longest, Martin or Rothfuss.

message 2583: by Chris , cookie guilt (new)

Chris Haught (haughtc) | 2450 comments You do know that every time somebody asks "when is TWOW coming out?" GRRM digs in his heels and stops writing for that day.

He also stops if there is a football game.
Or a convention.
Or a boring ass anthology to compile.
Or more Wild Cards to delay publishing on (even though the books were release 20 years ago - they need new covers).
Or a movie showing at his theater.
Or a movie NOT showing at his theater.

Chris Haught (haughtc) | 2450 comments Maybe he's aiming to release the next book on the 20th anniversary of Game of Thrones. That will be 2016.

And then he'll release the final book on the 20th anniversary of Game of Thrones, the show.

2031

message 2586: by Nyssa (new)

Nyssa | 2023 comments One of the first scenes in the show (view spoiler) actually convinced me not to read the series. I just don't think I'll enjoy "everyone dies", and then "everybody else dies" material.

I thought I'd finished the series years ago at book 4. She wrote 6 books. I've heard books 5 & 6 aren't worth the squeezing.
