It's one of those annoying prequels that's written later in the series and contains loads of spoilers. So annoying when they list it as the first book when it contains spoilers!

Definitely annoying. How can it be a prequel and has events of the earlier books??

@Sarah Didn't know about that but i dropped the series anyway. So sad! I think publishers should put a note that says "read after #?" So people won't get mad.

About TMR .. I stopped at chapter 4 and i really like the narration. The beginning was intriguing and perfect introduction to this world as if Thomas was the voice of the reader since he lost his memories..

I finished the first book. The End left me intrigued. but it felt really confusing for the most parts. apart from that it was a great book..

I actually just watched the movie today for the Maze Runner, and I have to admit, I loved the movie, so I'm planning to start reading the series soon because of it :)

I stopped at chapter 10 and (view spoiler)[i am super intrigued by everything. The sound of the "Rat Man" was ominous announcing Phase two of the trials.. and how could these trials save the human race? I'm scratching my d*** head! A lot of questions were thrown in in these 10 chapters like: where is Teresa? And how is she a betrayer? Why didn't she recognize Thomas? Who is Aris? Could he be trusted? (hide spoiler)]

I'm loving it and i wanna keep reading.. but a girl gotta sleep..

I was nervous, even though I knew what was about to happen. I love Chuck, he's so cute! He seems to desperate for friends, which should be annoying, but is just endearing. I like Newt too, he's a good leader. Better than Alby. Why get mad at Thomas for having questions? Why wouldn't you have questions?? I have loads and I know what'll happen! (hide spoiler)]

I'm at 45% (view spoiler)[ This is so much better than the movie! The descriptions are so good, and the characters feel so real. I hate Gally, just because Thomas does. I want to know everything that's going on, and why Thomas has made all these mysterious things happen. I also want to be a Keeper, just so I can go to a Gathering. Those seemed so interesting. I guess it's not every day Minho hurts Gally, but still, it'd be cool to be part of all those decisions! (hide spoiler)]

I was okay about her being sent and being the last one, but the Creators (I assume) have just turned off the world. No sun? Who does that? They could survive on their own, without the supplies. Barely, but they could. Not without the sun though. I thought they were cruel before, but that was nothing. And now the Doors aren't closing? I remember the scene from the movie, but I'm prepared for all new levels of an intense battle about to happen. Oh, last thing - where the shuck is Gally? He didn't just run and die in the Maze, did he? Did he go the Creators? But how? I need to keep reading, I need to work it all out!! (hide spoiler)]

Other than Chuck I mean, because while he's cute, he won't protect Thomas. Minho is not so cool. He's so whiney! He gives up way too easily, he needs to learn to fight more. And now Thomas has just got himself stung. That's a lot of dedication. I don't know if I'm impressed, or just annoyed at his stupidity (hide spoiler)]

Finished!! (view spoiler)[ That ending... It was so sad, with only half of them making it. But it kind of nicely wrapped everything up too, finding out who the Creators were and everything. The epilogue seemed suspicious, so I'm interested in reading the sequel to find out about that. I hated that Chuck had to die! And Alby! They were so great! I'm glad Minho made it, he's one of my favourites. I'm afraid that now they're out of the Maze, it's going to become typical dystopian. The Flare made it seem like that's where it's heading (hide spoiler)]
