I recommend reading this book after books 1, 2 and 3. It contains spoilers that can ruin the other books for you.
Kylie
Read the original Maze Runner trilogy first. It will make the Kill Order better and make a lot more sense.
Ashley
I would read it before. Less disappointing in my opinion. I don't see how it's much of a spoiler, there's still too many unanswered questions.
I've read all four books in less than two weeks. I JUST finished The Kill Order. In my opinion, I wish I read it first.

You should DEFINITELY read after books one, two, and three. CONTAINS MANY SPOILERS ABOUT TERESA.
Abigail
Well it kinda ruins who Teresa is it ruins the experience so read last !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Becca
I recommend reading it after the first book, at least. The prequel does not give away anything that would spoil book 2 and 3.
KINGSTON
I think you should read books 1,2,3 first to understand the story and don't get confused because if you read this book first before the other ones it will be confusing.
Lillian
Yes, 100%. If you read this first, you'll get many spoilers and it'll ruin the main series for you.
Christy
No. Read this book after the trilogy. Read this series in order of publication.
Alejandro K
Best if before, though it is a completely different story.

LIGIT JUST GO FOR IT. I MEAN, ITS A PREQUEL

It may has spoilers about first 3 books but if I hadn't read the books before I'd read it before the first three books. Becasue you'd get some ideas about the first three books. But if you still want to read it after the first three books then read it after like a few months. Because reading The Kill Order right after The Death Cure will make TKO a bit boring.
Nicholas
Agreed. Read whole series.

I'd recommend reading it after the trilogy. It'll give some background and food for thought regarding the content of this book.
