I understand why they didn't trust them, but Im sort of glad Rat Man is forcing them to get their memories back. I need answers! I don't trust Teresa. There's just something suspicious about her... Chapter 9 (view spoiler)[that Rat Man irritates me. and they call people immune to the Flare "munies"? Sad about Newt being not immune :( also I am conflicted between what Teresa and Brenda said. Which one is right and which one is wrong? I feel like they're overreacting toward this "bring-your-memories-back" procedure. Interested to see what will happen (hide spoiler)]

Chapters 1 thru 9 (view spoiler)[ I was not happy to see that Rat man is back, it was shocking to find out he is the assistant director of all of this. I am happy to hear that most of the people are immune to the Flare. I am really upset Newt is not though. Also what the heck Brenda? Why are you working for them? Figures Wicked would make Newt, Thomas, and Minho get their memories back. I found it funny that Wicked need 5 guards to watch over 3 teens.(view spoiler)[ (hide spoiler)] (hide spoiler)]

Chapters 10-21 (view spoiler)[ I really like Brenda! Even though she works for WICKED, I trust her. I probably shouldn't, but I do. I really want to know what's in that envelope Newt gave Thomas. I feel so sad for Newt with the Flare. I really like him, I don't want him to die! I don't like how obsessed Thomas is with Teresa. She's been nothing but horrible to him. He can't trust her! And now they're going to Denver to find her? Idiots (hide spoiler)]

Chapters 10 thru 21 (view spoiler)[ Well at first I was confused about Brenda, but now she and Jorge seemed to be on the gladers side. What is in that letter Newt gave Thomas? I wonder. Ugh! Seriously Teresa disappears again! I really hope they did escape WICKED, but it is doubtful. I think Denver will be real important to the storyline(view spoiler)[ (hide spoiler)] (hide spoiler)]

Chapters 21-39 (view spoiler)[ Im so worried about Newt!! He's my favourite character, he can't have the Flare! It's so sad that he's going to stay with the Cranks. I don't think he should die alone like that. I know he'd go crazy, but Thomas and Minho really do want to look after him. I think Thomas should read the note soon. Isn't Newt saying goodbye forever the right time? Hopefully he does it in the next couple of chapters, assuming Newt refuses to go with them. And what are the girls up to at the moment? We haven't seen them in ages! (hide spoiler)]

Chapters 39-57. OhmyGod. (view spoiler)[ I can't believe he killed Newt!!! I was really shocked when he read that note, and it broke my heart. But I'm sort of proud of Thomas for listening to him. I don't think I would've had the courage to do that, even though it was the right thing to do. I wish Minho had gone with them to see the Right Arm. I think they should stick together, not bring people like Brenda. I thought Gally had died, so that was surprising! I'm not sure if it was a good surprise or not. I like my dead characters to stay dead. But it is handy that they have a way to get involved in the rebellion. I don't have much more of my book to go, and I'm worried about how it's all going to end. We have no idea what's happening to the girls group, which is annoying. I need to know what's happening with them, and how their story all ends up! (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 39 (view spoiler)[I am worried too about Newt. I have a bad feeling he's gonna die. But the guy has dignity he won't go with me and be a burden on them & worse for him 'coz he doesn't want his friends to remember him as a Crank. So sad!

Wouldn't it be ironic if Teresa is the one who Thomas should have trusted. I feel she'd up to something! and i can't the shake the bad feeling Brenda gives me.. (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[ I feel like it didn't wrap up as well as I wanted it to. Yes, they lived happily ever after. But I can't help comparing it to the maze. It was all planned, and I don't like that. Plus, they didn't get their memories back! We have no idea how Thomas was involved! That was all I really wanted to know by the end of this book. Plus, how did Teresa and Thomas end up? Is Thomas with Brenda? Are Thomas and Teresa going to fix their problems? I'm not happy... (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 27-39 (view spoiler)[I am glad they managed to get that fail safe out of Thomas’s brain. UGH! I wish Ratman would just go away. I find it crazy that Newt does not want to go with Minho and Thomas. I hope they are able to save Newt in the end. Also, these cranks are getting crazy! I am at chapter 23 right now. Had a hard time getting into it because I saw the movie 5 months ago and kept picturing that Setting and already know where the story is heading. But now that I am a bit further along I am getting into the story. I like that it is written out of Thomas' perspective and you get more insight into his feelings than in the movie.
