Thomas just keeps on increasing my doubts about his intelligence. The code was FLOAT, CATCH, BLEED, DEATH, STIFF, PUSH. I had a hunch that PUSH meant pushing 'something'. Not a surprise that that 'something' was a button! It was so goddamned obvious! The Creators selected Thomas and Teresa because they were intelligent, right?! Then, why are they acting like dumbos?! When Chuck died, all I felt was *mild* sadness. That's all. Please tell me I'm not alone in this!

So, what's up with these rescuers and the Creators? I don't believe it for one second that the Creators had such a lapse in their security system that some random armed guys sneaked in and killed everyone. That email at the end further proves my assumption. I have a hunch it's another Variable. (hide spoiler)]

Chapter-6 (view spoiler)[~ I'm actually sort of happy that Teresa's gone. I don't think I would mind Aris much.
~ So, the Creators had made two Mazes. This book is making no sense. (Wait, did I say that already?)
~ I personally don't understand the Creators' choice of making Minho the team leader. Don't get me wrong. I have nothing against him. It's just that it always seemed like Thomas would be the perfect choice.

Up to chapter 24: (view spoiler)[ The banishing of Ben seemed really cruel. I know what he did was wrong but he was clearly ill so the punishment seemed a bit harsh. I hope they don't punish Thomas too much as although he broke a rule he was able to save the other boys. I am finding this story really interesting and I can't wait to see what will happen in the rest of the book. (hide spoiler)]

They've discovered that the Maze's are codes and solving the code might be their way out. I'm guessing they don't get out or they end up somewhere else considering that there are another two books in the series. (hide spoiler)]

I have had a look online at pictures from the movie of them and they look more like spiders than what was described in the book :( I did feel early on in the book that Tom would have to be stung by one in order to remember as much as he could.
