Yuuuussss I just got Maze Runner from my library as an audio, which is perfect, because I have at least 4 hours in the car today :D So I'll probably even finish this, which is perfect because Tome Topple starts in 2 days and I was really worried about finishing this one.

I picked up the rest of the series from home, but I can't read them this month sorry. Got Tome Topple starting today.

Review: Wow it's been 4 years since I read this book? Definitely doesn't feel like it. Suppose also because I've seen the movie since then. Was really pleased I was able to pick this book up as an audio because I had a long car trip that day, so was able to get through it quickly. I have to admit that at the end I zoned out (due to me playing games while I listened, which is never a good combo) so I don't 100% know how it finished, but I remember enough to delve into book 2 soon. One thing I found totally unbelievable about this whole thing was the (view spoiler)[mind-reading thing. (hide spoiler)] The rest of it is vaguely believable if you stretch the limits, but that just kind of dropped any credence the rest of the story had.
This book also had a kind of Chosen One vibe going on, which is something I ain't a fan of, if you didn't already know. I did like the way they (view spoiler)[picked the Glader's names though. Quite a novel idea. (hide spoiler)] Just to ease my own mind I might rewatch the movie before I read Scorch Trials just so I know how it ended, and I'll hope that it ends the same in the book XD

Maze Runner up to ch32. Frustrating to have no sense of why these boys are here. Surprised more people haven’t turned on Thomas.

Finished Maze Runner. Well, not without its issues but this is certainly action-packed. I’d have liked it more if I had felt a little more affinity with Thomas.
