Finishing thoughts (view spoiler)[ Welp they got me.. There are so many unanswered questions therefor I MUST read the next one.. For instance, what happened to all the people and animals that were still up in the Glade when Thomas pushed the Kill Maze button? And whatever happen to Bark the dog, why did he know Thomas? Why was Wicked Is Good written on Theresea's arm? I'm happy that all the boys and girl are "safe" for now, but I think there is SO much more to the story, and I must find out (hide spoiler)]

@Rachael (view spoiler)[Really? I haven't even considered the fact that they might be brothers. That's interesting. I agree with the unanswered questions part and honestly I feel a little cheated. We were supposed to have some answers by the end of the first book but we ended up with even more questions. And more loose ends. What happened to the people in the maze? "The Grievers probably got to them" isn't a good enough answer for me. And what about "wicked is good"? They're clearly not good. Unless we're missing something, which seems to be the case. And even though I want my questions answered, I'm not entirely sure I want to read the next book because it feels like it's gonna be more zombie-like and sad and I don't like either option :\ (hide spoiler)]

I have read all three (just not the prequel) and I still can't tell you what was going on. I ended the last one feeling just as confused as I did at the start of the first one, and pretty darn annoyed about it too.

That sounds really frustrating! But I'm so curious so I'm probably gonna check em out.. And I'm excited to see the movie! I'm excited to see Hollywood's take on the Grievers

I will read the rest too. I hope to get to them next month. I too want to see how Hollywood is going to make this into a movie. I think they did a pretty good job casting Dylan O'Brien as Thomas.

After Five Chapters my first reaction was - 'Say what?'

Because the protagonist said something in the end that made me totally confused!
Anyway this new world that I've discovered so far is pretty mysterious. The thing that's different from other dystopian novels is the lack of information, the lack of knowledge of people about (view spoiler)[ their past, their previous life, and about the Maze itself. Like according to Chuck they don't know half the things in here and these guys are okay with it. And I'm sitting here like 'The F' because I'm pretty sure if I would be there I'd probably kill some people in there asking questions constantly! (hide spoiler)] Thomas, the protagonist is as new to this world as we are, and yeah he's depressed and all, but he's pretty smart too. Not to mention Brave. Ah well, he's our hero so..

But it's really urging me to read more, because there's SOO much to know!!

He's pretty smart already and claims to know about the maze and wanna be a Runner and things are seriously about to change so...that's what lead me to this prediction. What in the...gosh 50% of the things aren't making sense at all. This novel should've been in the category of Mystery rather than Dystopian. But it's all really cool because we know we'll know it all in the end. But the..shank? writer brings a cliffhangar to Every shuck chapter that its almost impossible to rest the book down!
