I have recently been rewatching the Cadfael TV series with Derek Jacobi - also very good. Jacobi is excellent as Brother Cadfael!

Well I only acquired a copy of Borrobil very recently but really enjoyed it.
Q: Quo Vadis by Henryk Sienkiewicz just after having seen the film; as a teen ager, when my grandmopther still hoped to get me into the catholic church ...

Oscar and Lucinda by Peter Carey
Extraordinary book in a class of it's own and the film was very faithful to the book with one of my fav actors Ralph Fiennes playing the very eccentric Oscar.
