I loved it, the fact that it was so short but yet there was so much going on.

I've read "The Yellow Wallpaper" too, Leslie - it's very short and decidedly creepy - hope you like it (if "like" is the word!!)

If it is creepy then maybe it will be my Halloween read. Thanks Shirley :)

The Elegance of the Hedgehog By Muriel Barbery
(Read last year)"
Nice book but aren't we supposed to ignore definite/indefinite article in selecting titles. Perhaps this one can have an opportunity when we get round to E again.

Do German titles count? If so:Unter Dem Tagmond (The Bone People) by Keri Hulme (read in 2007)
hold on, I have an English one as well: The Unbearable Lightness of Being by Milan Kundera first read....well...when I was still young and innocent.

"
I wanted to do the same question but with Italian titles. It is so complex to find books that maintain the same title when translated.

I don't know if I am being clear, so let me give an example. Gunter Grass's novel The Tin Drum could be used for B by using the original German title Die Blechtrommel but Hulme's novel The Bone People was originally written in English, so it can't be used for U.

I don't know if I am being clear, so let me give an ex..."
I see, that makes sense (eventhough it provides an extra challenge for us foreign folk due to what dely has pointed out, but it will keep the braincells active at least;) Aren't I glad I added Kundera as well!

Tiny Sunbirds, Far Away by Christie Watson (currently reading)"
Maggie, I think the next letter should be "V"

Do you know, I don't know what's happening with my emails but T was definitely next when I did it. I think I'm missing some mails! (Or I don't know my alphabet!) Oops, I think I know what I did - my emails came up at page 3 (last letter T) and I didn't go onto to page 4 - sorry!
