Great review Brenda. Apparently I had already liked it because I automatically hit the button and then saw I had unliked it, so I quickly hit like again. The mysteries of the computer sometimes baffle me :)

Suz | 4428 comments Unforgivable by Sharon Robards is great so far, but not being a catholic, I have have always had the assumption, due to films and books, that there are so many mean nuns.. I think I've met a nice one here, though.

Ashlee Hi everyone - has anyone read or is about to read The Beast's Garden by Kate Forsyth? And if so would they be interested in doing a guest review for my magazine?

We're doing a fairy-tale theme this month and I only just realised this was coming out…unfortunately I have three other books to review in the next week and won't be able to get to it. I was going to include Bitter Greens, but it would be great if we could include something brand new instead (especially as this one seems a bit controversial)

Hi Ash, it looks like a lot of my friends have this on their list but haven't yet read it as yet. I haven't read this author as yet, but have heard her speak many times on the radio. She has such a nice way about her. I hope you can find someone who has this book!

There were very good Nuns too Suzanne, unfortunately the not so good ones tend to stand out and tarnish them all with the same brush...they were very, very strict for the main part. Another (Aussie facticious.;) novel springs to mind, that you might like: The Convent by Maureen McCarthy it is set in Melbourne and based on facts.

Lisa Genova's research for each of her books is meticulous! Each has had a different condition and the insight and depth that she puts out there is astounding. She's a very talented author in my opinion:)

No not at all Rita...really educational but in an entertaining way; it's not force feeding medical information - it's fiction based on fact and that's why her research is so good, and her real talent at turning them into excellent novels:)

My review for A Corpse in the Koryo https://www.goodreads.com/review/show... It was an unusual plot - but then again, North Korea is an unusual setting.

I gave it 3 stars

Nikki the Sapphired Book Dragon AKA NixieNut (sapphireddragon) | 8 comments I started Saint Anything by Sarah Dessen this morning and I am really enjoying it. It is my first Sarah Dessen book though I have been hearing good things about her books for while. This one has been pretty easy to get into and I am quietly happy I have the afternoon free to read this afternoon as I would like to finish it today :-)

Kathryn | 3569 comments I'm reading Nevil Shute's The Far Country which I'm really enjoying. I've read and enjoyed one of his before, but I was a bit hesitant to pick this one up because I (rashly) was judging it by its cover (plain red) and its font (a boring, old-fashionedy, kind of dense-looking style) but I'm really enjoying it. It's easier to read than the font indicated and the storyline (at least so far) is good!
