Yeah unfortunately I didn't like it all that much, but glad to see it went well for you :)

Regina Finished Wolf Winter by Cecilia Ekbäck.

Despite being slow going, I liked it.

True. But we are still friends and I can often appreciate your review even if I don't respond the same way to the book itself. I do think mood, circumstances and what else people have read around a book can alter the way we see it..

message 13656: by Marianne (new)

Marianne (cloggiedownunder) | 9975 comments As I can appreciate yours! And I agree, mood, circumstances, and reading tastes all play a part.
BTW have you checked your GR emails?

message 13657: by Dale (new)

No I haven't read this one yet Julie. I just don't loooove reading books on my iPad Kindle app as my youngest (3yo) uses devices too much and it's easy to avoid it all together! I will get to all of Vicki's though. I've read two in total I think.

Mish | 3601 comments I have been a bit slack with my reviews lately but I have finally managed to do one for The Secret Keeper - https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...

I have finished Crime and Punishment - took me a whole month to read this book. It's so involved and mentally draining. I believe it's worth it though - 4 stars

Now I'm on to a ripper of a book ( and thanks to Brenda for my copy :D )- The Girl on the Train - Oh!! there's lies galore in this book that I feel embarrassed, ashamed for this particular person and on edge. But I suppose that's what an addiction can do to a person, they can't think level headed. Wonderful book so far.
