Good review Suzanne...not overboard at all! Have you read The Husband's Secret by Liane Moriarty?
If not, I'm sure you would love that too! It was a real page turner.

I agree with recommendations to read The Husband's Secret, Suzanne - I read it last year and liked it more than this one (although I felt this was really cleverly written as well and gave both 4.5 stars).

Sally906 | 87 comments Just picked a book off my TBR pile Man Drought by Rachael Johns. First book I've picked up because I want rather than I have to. Have been reading my ARCs fairly exclusively - not that any of them have been not desired. It just that deadlines loom and put pressure on me. I realise I choose that pressure though :)

Still there is no reason for reading Man Drought except desire :)

I so feel like the slow girl now, LOL, everyone seems to have finished The Slow Regard of Silent Things already! I DID start it last night but am just 15% in. Already loving it, though. You're right that it feels very much like a fairy story, which I love.

If it had been edited properly it would have been a different book Michael! Not being able to follow the story makes it very difficult to keep the flow going...
