This was one of those books Vicki! I had 50 or so pages to go and I had to keep putting it down cos I didn't want to know what was going to happen, but then I'd pick it up immediately cos I needed to know what happened!!!

Just this morning started Coal Creek. Again despite the cover. Inside the paper cover is a beautiful green cover which would have been ideal with just author and title on it. Have to say I like Alex Miller's writing which is why I am reading it despite the cover of a guy in a bush hat.
