You've probably already answered this, but when you're asking for something white on the cover, if the title or author's name is printed in white, will that count?

Also, I have set up a spreadsheet which (hopefully) does most things automatically using a number of formulas. Anyone is welcome to borrow it if they need (although there are sure to be better ones around...). It's linked over at Snow White.

Yes teamies can read the same book :)
If you have a little less known one that's not been shelved enough and you know it's a retelling you can use it.

Tarzan I'll have to check Wikipedia unless you find one that fits the shelf/list criteria.

All the teams names are fair game for both the team name bonus and author initial one.

Yes author or title in white is sufficient.

That's right, once you have 10 task books read turn it in and you'll get 100. Think of it like botg where each spellout got us 100.

Megan, I don't know about the posting stuff, but as far as reading the same books, it looks like that's a yes. So if everyone on the team wanted to read the same book one week, they could and still get the same points each.

Ok on the changing of themes:

Q: When the theme/task changes what if my team isn't finished with the current set of 10?
A:That's not a problem, just finish out your current 10 and in the meantime you can still be working on the new theme/task too. Just can't use one book for both theme/tasks.

Mini challenge books need to be in before the next one starts. They don't have to be reported by the captain but do need to be read and posted in your team thread. So have those finished on Tuesdays.

Yes read the same books and each person gets the points :)

I will post themes and mini's a day early so anyone can hunt books as much as they'd like.

When you do include all of the other books and their points that didn't fit the 10 so I'll have some kind of documentation on them.

My above post, just wanted to stress that you don't have to have them reported by the time it changes with the new mini and or theme.

Keep in mind if everyone reads the same book, that makes getting your team's set of 10 more difficult...

I am a little confused on reading the same book. We can all read the same book and get the same points for it. If it is a book that fits the task does it count each time as a task book or does it only count once for the task and the rest are just for bonus points. So if 5 read the same book is that 5 towards the task or just 1

If 5 people read the same book and it fits the task you'd have 5 towards your 10 done :)

Yes any book you read during the challenge that meets the page minimum will count for page points even if it doesn't fit anything else.

Why would it make it more difficult? Couldn't each book read be counted even if it's the same book?

Yeah, Jenne confirmed this up in msg 407. 10 people could read the same book and it would count as all 10 tasks complete.
