Task # 25.7 - Nikki's Task: Drug of Choice

Book 1 - The Dragon
Re-read a book that is special to you. This book is obviously a reread, one of the first Adult mysteries I read recommended by my mother.
4 50 from Paddington (Miss Marple, #8) by Agatha Christie by Agatha Christie
Book 2. Honouring your dealer
So read a book that clearly includes the person or relationship that describes you and your book dealer in the Goodreads summary. The Bad Book Affair (Mobile Library Mystery, #4) by Ian Sansom by Ian Sansom. The main character is a librarian that solves mysteries. The librarian in the small town in which I grew up helped me find books I enjoyed especially mysteries which I still enjoy today.

I chose Option 1.
I read Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil A Savannah Story by John Berendt by John Berendt. My copy has been languishing in a bin that started as a "nighttime reading" TBR stack in grad school, then migrated to under my desk at my first condo, and has been continuing to accumulate dust under the desk in my office at the house I currently live in (about 4 years now). So it's definitely one of my "Top 10" oldest TBR titles (and now that it's "read" I can say "was" :) ).

25.13 - Morgan Faeriesfolly's task: It's not Usagi -
This is a TWO BOOK task. Choose TWO DIFFERENT options and read a book for each.

Option 3: Since Kaguya-hime is sent to Earth alone and keeps her sadness to herself for awhile before she tells her parents what has made her so upset, read a book with a single girl/woman on the cover. There should be no other human or human forms present on the cover. Animals are okay. Can be a cartoon version of a woman, but not a doll or a only a silhouette.
Required: Post the cover when claiming the task for completion.

Born with Teeth by Kate Mulgrew Born with Teeth

Option 5: Whenever the Bamboo Cutter cut down a stalk of bamboo after finding baby Kaguya-hime, he found a small gold nugget. This was sent from the people of the Moon to him to help in the costs of raising their temporarily exiled princess. To help him count all these gold nuggets, read a book with a counting NUMBER found in the TITLE. The number can be spelled out like one, two, three or in numerical form; 1, 2, 3. Hyphenated number words, like twenty-one and thousand-dollar, will work.Ordinal numbers (First/1st) do NOT work. Once, Twice, etc. also do NOT work.
