Hello I'm VeronaI live in Northern Ireland, am on the wrong side of 60, don't get out much but fall into another world every evening courtesy of the book I'm reading at the time. I love crime novels particularly Scandi Noir. I also enjoy auto biographies.

I didn't know that, Sean! I just added one of his books to my TBR list and I can't wait to read it!
Good morning all. I live in Canada and am waiting for the first snow of the season. My love of reading began at an early age with my first library card. I still get excited in visiting a library. I enjoy a good twisty turny mystery. I also listen to books on Cds, while cross stitching. Let it snow.

Thanks I will check her out.
Hi - I live in Pottstown, PA. I love to read and am always looking for new authors/titles. I started going to the library when I was 6 and have been an avid reader since. I read mostly fiction and love a good mystery/thriller. Looking forward to being part of this group.
Welcome, Nance! I, too, have many memories of walking to the library when I was a child. It's still my happy place!

Hi all! So...I am not new (I joined in 2016) but I haven't been too active in this group. I've made like 3 comments. Yikes! Life just got in the way with things. I am just going to reintroduce myself. My name is Lisa (that's obvious). I just moved to a little, big town southwest of Houston, Texas. I read everything. I am not picky by any means. My favorite place on Earth is a library. I love "real" books. Just something about the musty smell of old pages and the smell of a new book. Don't get me wrong, I read a lot on my trusty Kindle app (and ibooks and Nook), but it is just something about an real book that I love. Any whooooo…..Just want to say Hi and look forward to participating in a lot more with this group!
Hello all. I joined Goodreads about six months ago and this group about two months ago. I’m in Colorado and I also love to hold a real book. Addicted to second hand bookstores! Loving these groups and reading almost everyday!
Hello I'm Sheri from North Carolina. I read different types of books for book clubs but I'm partial to true crime. I have a Kindle and have gotten books from audio sites but my favorite way to read is holding a real book with a front cover, back cover, and a spine to keep everything together.
Welcome, Polly! Take a look around our different threads and and you'll find a whole host of recommendations; especially in the 'Book' folder.
Hey!! I’m Emma, 25 from Edinburgh, Scotland!
I’m a book addict - don’t go anywhere without one. Feel naked if don’t have one with me :O
I read pretty much anything - except poetry.
I go to a local book club - where I am the youngest by far! - but it’s fantastic! Love to social aspect of books too!
Eh... I’m currently studying Law at Edinburgh University. It’s my second degree (first was Anatomical Sciences) and I graduate in June hopefully.
I’m aiming to become a family lawyer I think but who knows!
I have two springer spaniels, live at home, and watch way to much Tv.
Nice to meet you all :D *wave*
Welcome Emma

Hi,I'm Martin from Cheshire. I read almost all genres, the proviso being that it has to be a good story, well told.
I'm a mechanical engineer working in the railway industry. Just at the moment, I'm sitting next to a Shih Tzu puppy who crying because he's ready for his walk, so it's time to round the pack up (two Shih Tzus and a Norfolk Terrier) and head out into the world.
Bye for now
